Lets say you have great genetics, what if you cannot afford HGH?You will never be the Top10.I'm sorry I know I'm a pessimistic guy.

Majority of Pro BB's come from poor families as a matter of fact. This phenomenon is even more drastic in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Russia as well as many former Soviet Union countries.
They train with what they have and show an immense amount of dedication as they step up their games. A sponsorship gradually allows them to be able to afford more gear and food, which is how they rise to the top.
This is how it also worked for Jay. Do you think the guy would be getting money from his family at the age of 38 to buy gear and food if he has not succeeded the way he did?

Read up on Phil Heath, if I remember correctly he was brought up poor!!

Maybe it was Kai.......I know one of them was brought up underpriveledged!!

If you have those kind of genetics you will gain enough sponsors to be able to afford GH..LOL..But it's very possible for a genetic freak to get in the top 10 without using GH.Think about this-a guy with tiny calves can take 10 ius of pharm grade GH daily and work his calves hard for years yet never catch up with a guy born with massive calves who does not even train them at all.

I remember watching a video recently about Jay Culter talking about his beginnings in bb. This was when he was young, late teens to early 20's if I'm not mistaken. He literally could only afford to put $2 worth of petrol in his car everyday, which he used to drive to the gym. He also had to pump up a tyre on his car everyday as he could not afford to buy a new one. He couldn't afford much, just the most basics of chicken and rice. Even then he had to get some financial assistance from his parents
I'm not sure where you got the idea that his family was rich. They might rich now but it wasn't the case when he first started out.
Keep in mind that although Ronnie Coleman won 4 more Olympia titles than Jay, apparently Jay earned more than twice the amount Ronnie has. This is according to this video, not sure if its true though ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo5isfkVcK4. So if his family is rich now I'm sure Jay would have helped them in some way

Oh yeah and Kai... I feel sad for the guy. As far as I'm aware he still lives in the slums of Brooklyn

in my own personal opinion any poor person will succeed greater in the sport because they have that drive & motivation to strive and be something instead of nothing

It's a toss up, if you got bucks it makes it easier. But, if it ain't there, it ain't there no matter how much cash you got.
Jay cutler seems like a real smart guy, it's all about endorsements - this guy is on everything.
No matter what you got, nothing but genetics and you being the one will get you to Cutler status.
I don't even think many people can take that amount of gear and live. . .lol

Kai Greene grew up in a foster home and I don't even think he finished school because he ditched all the time to get extra sleep and hit the gym. He's been in positions of where if he didn't win or place in a competition he would be flat broke, he put it all on the line all or nothin. There's probably a few things that are possibly a little exaggerated but he had a tough road none the less. He's done some things i'm sure he regrets in order to support his bodybuilding lifestyle, some might know what i'm talking about. Read up on him, he's a great inspiration.

I have a Bosnian friend that is very experienced in the athletics programs there. The government/school watches you ffrom an early age, and those with aptitude in any area are segregated and trained. Put on a nutrition program including injectibles. that country is very pro AAS at the highest levels. Dude is an expert in judo/jujitso, is about 6'4" and 300lbs. He's also a master sniper and expertly trained in most all weapons. He is 34 now and was injured in a m/c accident when he was younger is how he got out of the government ran programs.
I don't give a fvck who you are, pretty much anyone here at the bboard, this is one bad mutha and someone you don't want to piss off!
