Blood Pressure staying high after cycle

Did 9 weeks of test prop with dbol wk 1-4 2nd cycle now 2 weeks into my PCT and still running BP of 160/70 resting heart rate is about 60. Im 25 and BP was fine before cycling. Getting headaches and my heart/left shoulder/arm aches constantly.

At one point my BP was 190/70. I've been to the ER and had ECG, blood test, urine test etc all came back fine. Just elevated BP. Doc had no idea what all the shit i was taking was (nolva, clomi, aromasin ) and said thats probably the cause of the high BP.

I'm taking hawthorne berry, coq10, potassium, fish oil, vitamin C, vit B, vit E, taurine, and upped my cardio.. Is it time to ask the doc for BP meds or should i wait it out a bit longer?

I think it's time to ask him for meds. Remember to check your blood pressure every day.

Calm down. Check your blood pressure each day. It will be higher first thing in the morning for some reason. Learned this with me and my wife during pregnancy. Relax. If you sit there and worry how high is it going to be while the machine pumps up I assure you it will be high. I went through the same thing last summer. 200/160. Superhuman amounts of test and tren . Dr got it lowered and let me leave. Worried about it all night. Woke up thinking I was having a heart attack. Left chest and arm hurting. Knew I was dying. Stayed over night in hospital. Got released said it was stress related due to my worrying. My point is your mind is a powerful thing. Relax and check it. 1 high reading isn't the end check it agin later. If it continues go to the doctor but don't mention the aas. That file will follow you forever.

Have you tried taking a low dosed aspirin each day? That will help alot. Do some reading on the Pros and cons of daily aspirin.

When I had Bp monitor I would test myself alot and get all worried. Ended up getting rid of it cuz when ever I tried use it, I would try relax but always stressed the fk out. Everytime I go to the docs they say it's in normal range so I'm cool with that.
I take hawthornberry and aspirin on cycle,
    Coq10, fishoil throughout the year.

Not much wter i dont think i had bloodwork done during cycle and my estro was in check. I haven't been taking aspirin. Is there any long term drawbacks to taking BP meds? Like once u take them do u have to forever?

No you don't have to take them forever. you take them while your bloodpressure is high. if your BP starts to fall below a normal level, you go back in to your doctor and he'll lower your dosage or take you off of them. It's important to have your blood pressure checked regularly.

hey so i got some water pills (diuretic) from the doc and been on them 2 weeks with no change. BP is still up around 150/75 sometimes higher sometimes lower. Beetroot juice did nothing and i also donated blood.

its been 7 weeks since my last pin of prop.

I've had blood work and everything was perfect even RBC count was normal.

Any ideas why my BP won't go back down? Anyone had this happen before?

Not gonna lie i feel this is a case of anxiety, i used to worry every time i checked my BP and my numbers were the same as yours. I had to go for a physical once to get hired for a job and my bp needed to be under 130 systolic well guess what i worried all day every day about it and my bp was constant at 180/110. So try to forget about it fr a bit and then randomly check it short term hypertension wont kill you but long term will. Lastly you could just be on of those unlucky guys that needs meds at a very young age.

    2 possibilities:
    1. white coat hypertension. worry and anxiety in the doctor's office temporarily raised your pressure on every visit. to be sure, just buy a battery operated bp monitor and check at home instead of in the clinic.

    2. real hypertension, either triggered by the cycle, or just a coincidence. any family history? this may mean meds forever. increased cardio, decreased bf% and salt intake may be able to control it somewhat.

    I'm running right at 150/80.

I don't like it, but I am carrying a bit of fat. Just started taking the 81mg Aspirins & I am still taking fish oil.

Never had this issue before my cycle. But, the cycle is not to blame IMO. It's most likely my rapid weight gain of 40Lbs.

Where you are at, just watch it and see how it goes.

I am in my middle of the cycle (9 out of 14 weeks) and I am running at 150/78. Just add clen two days at dosage of 40mcg. My normal BP is something between 130/80 to 145/80.

^^^Yep, vasodialator/NO booster. Also, what about your RBC and Hematocrit levels? Thick blood can lead to High BP.

taking BP meds is a solid practice in any life extension plan. taking them on cycle makes sense also. my doctor from before suggested i take them even when BP was not a problem.

Get through your PCT and take a rest until everything returns to normal. When I ran my cycle my blood pressure was high too. I looked totally vascular but I thought at times that my head would pop off my body because of the headaches. I'm 2 months post PCT and I'm feeling a LOT better. My blood pressure's returned to norm about 120/70. Cycling AAS is not a walk in the park you have to know what you're getting into and monitor yourself to be safe. Good luck.
