Ball ache toward end of cycle and first 2 weeks of pct

I assume this is caused by my boys shutting down and then pct starting back up again. it feels like blue balls, hurts real bad and is very uncomfortable for weeks. it ruins my sex life for weeks because even an orgasm does not feel that good. My question to the vets are what can I do to sooth them? I tried handling myself as much as possible but should i just not do that? thx all
