does sex affect gains while on cycle?
does the amount of sex you have (or the number of times you ejaculate) affect your gains while on a test cycle? I know during ejaculation you release hormones and I want to know if having sex twice a week or 10 times a week makes a difference.

Ive heard some things about this before, I doubt is enough to notice. If it hinders gains, then fine unless you're on the PRO level.

Many pros apparently reduce the frequency of sex leading up to competitions and it is believed that it is to avoid reduction in testosterone levels . Unless you're in the sack numerous times a day seven days a week, I doubt it will have any significant impact on your levels. The other side of the coin is that sex is an aerobic event so you are burning calories, but again, unless you are having a marathon session of sex for hours on end, the total caloric burn isn't significant enough to induce a catabolic state.
So as SK1 said, unless you're a pro athlete preparing for a competition, I wouldn't worry yourself about it. I doubt very much that many members on this forum are abstaining from sex over concerns about their testosterone . To the contrary, I suspect many members who are on cycle and have elevated levels of testosterone are probably having MORE sex.

I've heard about boxers doin that kind of no sex thing. I really feel like it is more about mental discipline then about increasing or maintaining high test levels. In bodybuilding I don't see the necessity, at least in boxing I can understand a dude wanting to tear another motherf****rs head of after not getting laid for three months.

Plus the actual act of ejaculating requires a good bit of energy, hence being tired after sex. I can always see a difference in my strength while at the gym between days I have no sex before and days I do. So no no sex before the gym for me!!

Have as much sex and nut as often as you can. Your gains will not be affected. I'm surprised some people are even considering otherwise.

Depends how much of a sick **** you are, as opposed to a hard ****.

The difference (if any) is psychological. It won't make any difference in gains (that the same amount of cardio would).
