Buying Gear Overseas - India

Hi all

Has anyone been over to India and bought gear over there?

I'm going over to New Delhi for a couple of weeks and want to take the chance to stock up. I understand that I'm allowed to bring back 3 months worth for personal use (I live in the uk) so may as well take advantage of the cheap prices.

I've read conflicting stories around whether you can just walk into a pharmacy over there and buy gear without a prescription. Has anyone got any first hand experience?

Not 100% sure mate, but suspect it is legal, as it is with pakistan and afghanistan.

befriend a local, and have them transact on your behalf. wait outside in a taxi. locals get a better price usually.

dont know who told you 3 month? its personal use, so is 20 vials or 2 vials personal use? up to customs officer

I cant tell you to import a suitcase full of AAS and RX meds, but I have with no problems in past, if you stopped, you prob fvcked regardless how much or little you have, especially with Olympics coming up

So take from that whatever you want.................

And anything is legal over that side of world if you have enough cash, but if they be legit or fake is another question altogether........

Certainly not planning on bringing a suitcase full back (as much as I'd like to), just a few cycles worth.

Good point about the Olympics though, I suppose they may have stepped up their checks for this kind of thing

They have, changed laws, and actually checking and seizing mail for once lol, I'd imagine they have also stepped up customs in airports from India, Thailand, Pakistan, Eastern Europe etc etc etc for the same reasons

I wouldnt go that far, if it was me I'd still do it, worst that happens is a seizure a lose a few hundread pound worth of gear that cost thousands locally..........

Any idea how I can identify a pharmacy that will sell what I'm looking for?

I would get ahold of the numbers of some local pharmacies where your going to be staying and call over there in advance and ask...

What about mailing yourself gear? Like send yourself a new package every day you're there.

In a hypothetical situation, that is probably what I woulod try.....just mail it to your self with a bunk name to a bunk name.

I would mail it to my real name. I mean you can't control what people send to you. And there is no way to prove you knew anything about it.

Thanks for the suggestions, I guess I wanted to avoid the mail route if I can as I know they have stepped up their checks on parcels from overseas whilst the Olympics are on. That said ill probs have the same challenge with customs anyway.

I'll probably try both
