Question Getting back in shape.. I like the term "fit"

Hi all, new to the this type of scene.. looking for some advice to give me a boost in losing weight/gaining strength. Sorry if it seems newbie, I read a few stickies but didn't really get an answer to what I was wondering.

    First some background..
I spend my 18-22 years in the USMC, and was by far in the best shape of my life. I was even appointed a position of authority over the light-duty Marines: pretty much the guys who could run, but pullups/pushups/situps part of their PFT was pathetic, and it was my job to get them up to par. I'm no stranger to physical activity, I have my own type of working out, similar to Crossfit type exercises. I like functional strength, I don't need to be huge, a body builder, or ripped poster board type.. I just want to get back to lean and mean. Coming home and starting a family, I got lazy. The last two years I didn't do anything but work and learn to be a father and husband..

    To the point..
Now that I've gotten comfortable in my new life, I'm looking for a boost to get back in shape. I've been doing P90X for a little over a month now; I haven't really lost weight but I can see the positive changes in my body, and I'm getting stronger and my cardio is improving. I just want a little 'bump' to help progess move a little faster. From a friend, I was given a bottle of Clen , Test 600x, and Deca 200 from the online website that I'm guessing is a sponsor of this forum.. Just from reading I gather I've got some good stuff.. My goal is to finish "leaning out" and losing fat to get back to my former slim self, then try and pack on some lean, hard muscle. I'm thinking I should take the Clen by itself in a 2 week on, 2 off cycle, and once down to the size and weight I like, take the Test600x and Deca 200 as a stack. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated, I've never taken a 'steroid ' before. Liver fix, anti-estrogen, anything else necessary or recommended? I eat pretty healthy, and the only supplement I take is a shaker cup of whey protein after I workout.

I'm currently 5'10, 200lbs. Not the healthiest 200, but its definitely not all fat. Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post but wanted to provide as much info as possible

If you have the sruff from the top of the page I think its just herbal stuff, not steroids at all. Give that shit back to your friend and read up in the diet section, thats where the map to your goal lies, good luck, thanks for serving

Well if I get replies like samsons I won't stick around at all.. I work 2 jobs and go to college, with a wife 2 kids and another on the way. I honestly ask because I don't have time to sit on the computer all day and research and read. I barely make the time to get a good workout in.
I read off the steroid profiles from this website. How am I supposed to know what it is or does if "my research" isn't "real" research?

Honestly, if you have nothing positive to say, don't say anything.

JAB I'm currently on about the best diet I can do with my schedule - tuna, grilled fish and grilled chicken, with some veggies is about all I can manage. Buddy said the stuff did come from buysteroids.com, is it really herbal?

Clen isnt magic. I wouldnt use it if you have a high BF %. Use the supliments from our sponsor banner above instead. Calorie deficit with lots of cardio and you will cut.

Welcome to the forum. I know exactly where your at. Although I have tons of lifting experience, I do mostly plyometrics, hit training, pull-ups etc etc now.

Ditch those supplements you have lol. Have I used any of there stuff...no...so can I tell you it's a waste of time... Lol yes. Supplement industry is 90% bullshit and that's being generous.

Stick with basics, protein powders, multivitamin, etc...

If your really considering the use of AS, I think most on here would agree, save the money your spending on supplements, and spend it on gear lol.

Do you have the Clen now?

Do you have a calorie and macro break down of your diet?

    Thanks austinite and Judah..
No breakdown of what I eat, I'm doing good just to keep sticking to healthy foods. I wish I knew my BF%, though again I may not wanna know it. I currently take AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 protein and GNC multivitamins. I have the Clen , 250 and Test600x still in the box my buddy gave me, it was a favor for putting a lift on his truck. He took it all as a stack and it worked visibly well as we are doin P90X together, so I figured I'd try it.

Again, I'm not shooting for a super cut or 4% BF, just tryin to speed up and amplify the progress I'm already getting. Thanks for the helpful replies!

4% BF ? Google that and look at images. It's skin and muscle. Beyond competition BF. Quite unhealthy.

I don't know about those products but with real Clen, it's better to use when you start having a hard time getting results. For example: 20% BF to 15% naturally. Kick in Clen for your cut from 15% to 10%... just so happens im doing exactly that right now.

Get your macros to 60 protein/20 carbs/20fats or at least 50/30/20

    Fasted cardio in the morning

Front load all your carbs in your first 3 meals. Second 3 meals no carbs. Veggies are ok.

Fasted cardio really isn't needed IMO. As far as macros only 20 carbs really? The Protein will convert to carbs anyway plus protein will cost more too

im no expert on anabolics but i can tell you, you need to have more carbs in your diet if you were at all considering doing 20% carbs. id have somewhere around 40p/40c/20f. but if your not really paying attn to your macros then just have two shakes a day with 2 scoops of whey and eat a few chicken breasts with some brown/white rice or some potatoes and fill in the rest with some other little snacks or somethin like nuts or some rice cakes. although you dont need to eat all "clean" IMO, if you know your macros you can fit in PRETTY MUCH whatever. i just chose to eat what people call clean. if you dont want to go all agro-crag (90's reference anybody?)on your physique, just work out hard and watch what you eat, its not rocket science. idk maybe ill get flamed for this but good luck man, gather as much info as you can and work hard as your doing it. id ditch the p90x and go for weight training but you certainly do NOT havto take my advice. just my two cents

Buddy in the marines with me had his body fat done by the base physician and again at Bethesda, he was 4.8% fat and didn't look bad. Dude did diet hardcore though. And I'm getting lost in the macro/protein/carbs thing..

Either way what I'm doing is good enough for what I want, and if these supplements don't give me the bump then no loss, I'll keep pushing pulling and rowing on regardless. Was kinda hopin they were good shit though lol

yeah dude, it is pretty confusing when you first hear about tracking marcos but if you actually do want to do it, its not that hard. just look at the nutrition label on the back and see how much protein/carbs/fats/ is in the food you want to eat. if you have the gnc protein powder and you have 2 scoops twice a day thats usually 100g of protein right there. then you have some meat or other food rich in protein and go from there. but it is best to get your macros from whole food sources IMO, i just feel better when i eat better food. but you dont need to track your macros if your not that serious, nbd. if you need help its really easy to find it on the internet.

^^^ Correct! It takes some effort at first but once you develop the habit it's not that bad and you'll start to see how well you actually are eating. I use an excel spread sheet to track macros for every meal with my planned macro units for the day and a formula that calculates how far over or under I am from my goal.

Of your a casual lifter then perhaps that level of commitment is an overkill, but for anyone considering steroids , I'd insist on that level of commitment. If you aren't willing to put the time in, anabolics aren't the way to go because they require commitment and discipline and a strong nutrition plan is the only way you'll see sustainable results.

    Fasted cardio not needed? Seriously???

Fasted cardio puts you directly into oxidative phosphorylation which feeds off fat stores. When fasted from sleep your body already has used a lot of your glycogen stores so you can utilize fat instead.

And the app already has like 85-90% of the food i eat already stored on it so you just type in the food then it gives you the macros. And it gives you the numbers you have left for the day. Its well worth free
