yep, i'm on my way now.. it's hard more of a mental thing but 8-12% bf yr round and hold at about 187.... should still give me good strength without the fat and more endurance..

The biggest I've been was 242. It was nice, but the older I get, the less interested I am in getting huge. 225 sub-10 BF and I'm good.

Im also becoming less and less inclined to do any sort of bulking, unless it's long term body recomp bulk. If anyone has horror stories of when bulking goes wrong, wanna hear about that as well !!

Ya i like leaning out and staying strong vs size now , was 220 on my 5'10 frame was too big . Wasnt till recently ive cut weight and started jujitsu and grappling . That made me think endurance , strength , cardio ... But my weight would be 180 diced

no desire to be a "monster".
that's for young bulls anyways. i'm probably going to give 250lbs a run one last time and see how it goes. but that hardly qualifies as a monster.

I am shooting to be at 180-190 and maintain. I am up and down from 175-180 now depending on the day. I think at 5'10" and a pretty small frame, 180-190 would be the bomb. I just want the whole "thor" look going for me. Vascularity is a plus, but with hypertension, its always there.

The biggest I got was 236 on a 5'9" frame, I felt like I was wearing a sumo wrestler. (Not a suit, an actual wrestler) I did not like it at all. I find my ideal weight is 185 - 190. Of course I'm 41 now so my veiws are probably not the norm. I was once 205 and under 10% BF, I was a freaking beast, I was also 24 at the time.

at 50, it seems the diagnosis from my Xrays is scoliosis, sway back and arthritas. My back was really sore doing cable curls. Since the back is structurally ok (no degenerative disc issues, nothing out of alignment), and it is "just pain", i marshall through the pain and keep going. but it does wear you out and fukcs with your routines.
Shit, just weighed at the gym and now up to 237. 250 by the end of the year really isn't going to be difficult.

here's the idea for you 51 yrs old... 5'8-9" 215 18% bf right now... during recomp i go to 203 10%bf... but even at that size i play volleyball regularly, and I can put my elbow at the top of the net... that's alot of meat to go up that high..
I've leg pressed 1500 for reps and 1200 as a regular rep sessions..
but pressing 400 for 300 reps is more impressive to me now, and doing mudder type training is more of what i'm into now... healthier for sure..The answer to your every question

Still don't have close to the muscle or strength I want to have. Biggest I have been was 236. But it would be nice to break 10% bodyfat eventually, maybe one day haha.
