    Lymph Nodes (swollen and painful)

Took my first shot (2 ml) of a Test only cycle on Sunday (Gemstone - Test E 250). There was no pain at the site injection. The next day, the lymph nodes in my groin began to swell with pain. They grew even more on Tues so went to the doc yesterday. He put me on antibiotics (Doxycycline). Site injection is still fairly painless, a tad sore but nothing unusual. No redness or heat but the lymph nodes indicate an infection, so I'm not sure what to make of it. I've read horror stories about abscesses that appear 4-5 days after the injection. I pray that's not the case.

Has anyone had experience with this? I've run 6 cycles before and never had a issue with my lymph nodes. Any advice would be much appreciate.

    Thx!

Your body sees the test as foreign and is trying to fight it. Same as if youd have the flu and your nodes swell. Some people have gotten a flu from test, but its just the bodies way of defending itself. You should be back to normal soon.

    Definitely sounds like test flu.

Thanks IIceMan. Thanks Alinjr. I appreciate your insight.

I haven't had a fever, which is good news I'd imagine. But the pain around my lymph nodes seems to be spreading down my leg and around my right hip. Is that normal?

I'm probably just over-analyzing it and freaking myself out:/

Anyone else have experience with these symptoms?

Going to get a blood test tomorrow. What should I do if I decide to stop the cycle? I've only taken one shot of 500mg. Would I still need to run some kind of PCT?

It's hard to workout with test flu, but you hate to waste the shot.

Yeah, I think I'm going to cut my losses and shut down the cycle. Would rather lose one shot then get halfway through and loses more. Will I have to do some kind of PCT? I have Nolva and Armidex on hand.

    THoughts??
