Thinking About First Cycle
I’m going to try to make this brief as possible, so sorry if it gets a little long.
I just turned 25 years old. I started lifting weights in 06. I followed some programs and had decent success. I’m 5’6” and at my heaviest I was about 165 lbs. I don’t know the bf% but it wasn’t that high. I did want to get a little more cut though. I tried the Palumbo diet. I tried it because it was spelled out pretty well online and this was my first time cutting so I wanted something that was tried and tested. I think I did too much cardio and may have started with my calories a little too low.
After the diet I started taking some harder science courses which messed with consistency. So between a bad diet, classes, and life I lost some muscle. Recently I just tried to cut down until about my abs were showing and then I was going to bulk up. I did get fairly cut, but not to the point of seeing abs though. Bad thing now is that I’m 140 lbs. I probably look heavier, which most likely isn’t that hard to do at 140, but 140 is very light.
This gets me to the main point of the thread which is I was thinking about doing a prohormone cycle but read that testosterone is just much better than any prohormone. I trying to stay objective and consider the reasons and repercussions for getting into steroids , thus why I even created this topic. I would say my reason is that I want to get back to where I was before and possible exceed that. I feel like I’m getting older and I want to start having some muscle again. Another reason, that is probably a pretty stupid one, is that I don’t have a lot of free time due to engineering courses and I was thinking it might be easier to get girls with more muscle.
Being 140 lbs and about 25 lbs away from my peak makes me think maybe a cycle isn’t a good idea. But like I said I feel like I’m getting older and I want to get my muscle and strength back fairly quick. I’m also thinking about a cycle now because I’ll have more free time in the summer than during a semester. I don’t want to have to deal with hormonal changes when I have a bunch of deadlines and assignments. I have been consistent the last several months with eating and getting to the gym so I don't think that will be an issue.
Sorry if this got long. I would appreciate anybody’s thoughts or maybe similar experiences. Thanks.

Please stay away from PH's. They can be extremely damaging to your liver depending on which PH your are taking.
And before you think about doing any AAS i would really get serious and put some weight on naturally with a solid clean diet that you can follow and make progress. Then maybe consider AAS at that time.
Check this out for an idea on your BF%.

Gotta get that diet together. You're not too far off though. Hit the Nutrition Section and those experts will help you get something dialed in for your goals.
Good Luck!!

I would say I'm pretty good with my diet. I know what foods to eat and how to cook to eat consistently. It has more been life that has messed me up. Transferring colleges, studying a hard subject, and some other things. I feel like summer is the time I could run a cycle and have it be as close to ideal as possible. Does being close to genetic potential mean anything other than that guy knows what he is doing? Are there any physiological advantages?

Read this thread,
http://forums.steroid.com/supplement...ever-need.html
As Mickey has already stated, prohormones are extremely liver toxic. If you are going to run anything stick with a basic 10-12 week testosterone cycle with proper HCG , AI and PCT protocol.

A few years ago I read a lot of steroids . Moreso just diet and training in general. I would say my current weight or progress doesn't reflect what I know, but more about how I handled stuff bad and didn't stay consistent.
I read and listened to a lot of stuff by Dave Palumbo and Justin Harris. I studied some anatomy and physiology, so I do have some understanding of the human body. I ultimately decided to study soft condensed matter physics. That takes up a lot of time, but I'm getting much better at managing things.
I don't have any sources for anything yet, but if I did I would run Test enanthate for 10-12 weeks and possibly Dianabol for 4 weeks early on in the cycle. I've read some different things about running Dbol with test E for a first cycle. It's a shame the Drug War still exists because it just makes people go to harsh oral compounds. At this point I'm pretty down on PHs, so I'll just wait until I can get a good source and get less harsh compounds.

I don't think I'm going to be getting test or dbol anytime soon so i'm planning on just doing a mechabol cycle this summer.
