What did you look like BEFORE you started using steroids?
Hi everyone, I'm 20 years old and have been training naturally for two years. I'm really curious to see what kind of physique is truly attainable naturally. I know everyone is different and genetics play such a huge role, but I'd really like to see some pictures of how big some of you were before juicing. If you could post a picture with a caption saying how long you'd been training for and your weight/height in the picture, then I would be really grateful. I'd really like to see what's possible naturally. I would love to believe that you can still look really good without steroids , these days you just don't know which "natty's" are telling the truth though.
Thank you

When I decided I wanted to get into bodybuilding I weighed 153lbs. I bulked up naturally to about 190 and when I dieted down to 6% I was 167. Next go around I bulked up to right at 200lbs, took an enormous amount of food, I mean borderline ridiculous. Again, still natural and I dieted down to 6% again and this time I weighed 171. After that I said screw this I'm using gear. I then easily bulked up to 220 with far less food, was leaner than 200lbs naturally. For the next few years I'd bulk up to 220-230 (one year almost 240, way too fat) and I would diet down to 195-197 and would hold a BF of 4-5%. That's my story.
As far as how I looked, well I looked awesome at all my weights natural or not, but that's just because I'm awesome

Haha cool thanks for the reply man. How long did you train for before you started using gear and what age did you start? It's such a temptation for me and I really want to believe that a great physique can be achieved without steroids
Also do you think that at my height (5'11") 185-190lbs at 8-10% bodyfat could be achieved naturally?

Genetics are the biggest factor here. I've seen some guys who are still natural and look like they are loaded out of their minds on gear. They work out twice a week and eat whatever they want, but they have god-like genes....Unless someone knows how the genetics are in your family - it's going to be hard to answer that.

Yeah I understand this, I just kind of wanted to know what was achievable for say someone with average or slightly above average genetics. I'd also consider myself a mesomorph if that helps at all

I started lifting weights religiously at the age of 14. Was always sort of the chunky strong kid. Lost the weight and held the low 153-160lbs for awhile. Started using gear around age 20 I think...the more I think about it I might have been 21, I honestly can't remember.
Yes, your goal is attainable naturally, but it will take time and it won't be easy. Saying it won't be easy isn't to discourage you, that's just stating the truth but it's not unrealistic. I'd like to think I could have done the same but I was impatient and had bodybuilding glory on the brain, which looking back is retarded glory, lol!

When I first started seriously looking into steroids I was 21. 6'0, 205lbs, 18-19%bf. maybe 20.
I took a year and a half to diet down to 170 10-11%bf putting me at 22 and some change. Still a bit early but I took my time to at least put my body into better shape and get my nutrition down before I started.
Had I been more patient I could've attained my 188 11% that I'm sitting at off cycle right now with some work but I had waited long enough I had thought

No, I don't regret it or say I'm glad I did it. I'm indifferent. I'm on TRT now, which in my opinion I probably would have ended up on even if I had waited. You don't use gear for 10yrs almost non-stop and not end up on TRT. Do I regret that? Well, it's not like being on TRT really affects my life in any negative way. I take one injection of testosterone on Mon. morning and that takes all of 60 seconds. I also inject HCG on Mon. and Thu. so we're looking at a total time of 2.5min a week more or less. And in my opinion, prior gear use or not, many men over 30 will benefit from TRT and most all will over 40.
Other issues: no health issues. My hair is thinner on top, which would have happened anyway but probably a little later on.

Wow, that's unreal
Seriously without juice I wouldn't be the same as I am now.
But, genetics are a huge part of your physique. I do see guys who I know are not sauced and they look the same as me or even better. . . Not fair, I know. Way up there with being born wealthy. Don't think about it, it'll give you a headache.

Thanks for the opinion
Thanks for sharing your experience, I really hope I can be patient enough to try to achieve my goal without hopping on gear
The possibility of TRT makes me a bit weary, but it seems like it doesn't really affect your quality of life. I appreciate all of your serious responses
That's great! I wish I had started training earlier so I could be sitting similarly to where you were at 20

Sad to say, the diet is still more important than the sauce. I found that part out for myself in cycle #1.
Specially for myself, the diet has to be very dry, low carb and lean. Or, i just blow up and turn into a pile - Juice or no juice. With juice, I'm just a bigger stronger pile.
