****ed up injecting quads today
Was looking at the spotinjections quad picture and I injected into my outer quad like I saw in the picture. The first time I hit a blood vessel then the next two I hit nerves and it was pretty painful. Was the needle just too long I was using 23 g 1.5. I really need tips for Injecting quads I need more sites than glutes and delts for my prop cycle

1 inch should suffice. If you have an issue hitting nerves often in that area, try lats, triceps, biceps, etc...

I use 25g, 1.5, should be fine I think. I don't think there are many blood vessels you can "hit" with a 23g, much too big for most veins.

Thanks I think it was just the needle length. Are all sites as efficient for absorption?

1.5 is good for glutes
1.0 for quads

Learned that one the hard way, hitting a nerve is something I don't want to do again.

1" all around is good. Like Austinite said biceps, triceps, chest, lats. I don't pin quads ever

I stick to upper body now, tri's & delts mainly
Hit a nerve twice while doing tri's < That shit was weird

Try a little lower on the quad. I use the 'stand with youre hand down at your sides and inject where your ring fingertip rests' position and I haven't hit bv or nerves there. My delts bleed and are full of nerves so I can't do it there anymore. I do pecs and quads exclusively these days. Anywhere else is.just too fing hard to reach without moving the needle all over the place. I'm scared to try triceps or biceps but I'm probably going to do it soon just to see if I can find another self-injection spot.

Only thing I don't like hitting a nerve is the muscle flutterrin. Always worry it'll snap the pin off when my quad does it. There's enough power in them muscles.
You know. Would be useful for a site injection sticky in here. Just so ppl know every possible site n don't have to traipse around looking for em.
Might look into it.

I was scared to hit quads in my first life. This time around I got sick of cramping trying to reach my ass and hold it while pushing 3cc's through a 23g so just did it. Hurt like hell the first time. I couldn't wall without limping for about 5 days. Now I don't even feel it. No spot pain, no pip. Pecs never hurt. Never pip there. No nerves, they don't bleed. Pecs are now my favorite spot.
Which head do you guys who pin triceps hit? I'd have to do the outer head because I'd be doing it myself. I could use a 5/8 there though. My arms are pretty lean.

I've pinned my quads hundreds of times and never had any abnormal bleeding or spasms. My first pin ever was in my quad lol

BBraun makes 25g 1.5" needles. That's what I use for my glutes. Ar-r doesn't sell them I do no believe, but I get all my pins from a hospital supply.

Yeh. My first ever pin on myself was quad. Fvcking utube didn't tell me the ****ers would feel like a horse kicked em. Maybe shouldn't of but 2ml of test400blend lol. But like anything u get used to hit.
Other day was first time I'd got in a vein. Load of blood in the pin. I just pulled out. Moved it an inch and was clear there so filled myself back up again. Lols.
Still got to try. Biceps. Triceps. Lats. Calves and pecs.
I probably won't do pecs as knowing me I'd get some muscle bumppage there. Could tho I suppose.

I mostly use a 23g 1" for my Quads and it's good. I have used 22G x 1-1/2" and the only difference is I just don't go as deep with the 22G x 1-1/2" , I hold back a little.. It's just knowing the sweet spot.
MY left leg no pain no blood. on my fight leg a little blood and PIP. Technique and spot , that's all.
Ya just learn to live with it. ...crazy mike

I also have 25 1.5 inch. Glutes are kinds odd to turn like that and I hit quads my 3rd injection, no pain just felt like I drained legs really hard the next day. I have done both delts and they were horrible!! No pain while Injecting, but about 5 min later for a few glute I thought my arm were going to fall off had a weird pain about 3-4 inches below injection spot I will prob try delta one pore time just to see if it was a virgin muscle thing. The other day I had a squirted while pinning my glute... Pushed oil in and after I pulled it out blood shot across the room. Tripped me out. On another note I think I will get all 23 gauge 1 inch to pull and to pin, 25 takes too long. Good luck

I use 1.5 for glutes just because I'm used to it and 1" for everything else.
I hate quads personally, and I will only use them in cycles I have to pin daily for. I've gotten blood a few times spasms a few times etc.
ill stick to glutes and delts thank you.
Maybe next time ill hit pecs or tris before I go quads again...
And whoever suggested calves. You're crazy!

I think its always best to start with the standard 3 go to spots used by medical personal for intramuscular injections. Delts, Glutes, Quads (Vastus Lateralis) in that order. For me and most I know Delts have the best combination of ease of access (2) Lack of nerves/veins (1) and ability to hold a lot of juice without pain(2) Glutes are also fine but ease of access rate a (3) Lack of nerves/veins (1) and ability to hold a lot of juice (1) Quads or Vastus Lateralis rates a (3) on nerves/Veins and only a (2) on amount of juice but ease of access is (1) for sure.
While I got no problem with injecting lats, delts, Triceps etc. I feel these are muscles much better left till you have a good amount of experience as well as musculature.
Oh yeah for me I use a 23 by 1 for all injections and only insert about .7" when pinning legs but bury the needle on delts and glutes.
