18 Years Old - First Cycle - Post Cycle Bloods

    Hey everyone,

Many of you probably remember my First Cycle log that was not only very controversial but also got me a lot of heat (understandably) from people on the forums... I executed my 500 test e/week intended for 12 weeks cycle perfectly as I have spent well over a year researching and reading on the forums. I did NOT run the cycle with hCG as I still to this day question it's viability aside from preventing testicular atrophy which I didn't experience... But that is another subject entirely. After getting blood work done 6 weeks into my cycle my bloods showed that my gear was significantly under-dosed. My test came back at 1241 ng/dl. After learning this I decided to go off cycle and go straight to PCT because I didn't want to keep pinning weak gear. Well PCT is over and I went straight to my doc to get bloods done. Test levels actually came back better than they were measured prior to my cycle. Test levels measured in at 718 ng/dl. I didn't experience any sides on cycle like high BP, acne, no increase in aggression, etc. The only things I experienced on my cycle was slightly puffy nipples and ridiculous strength and muscle gains... Pre cycle I weighed 191 pounds @ 9.8% BF on a 6'2'' frame. On my last pin I weighted 211 pounds at 8.6% BF. I wasn't a huge fan of my look however on cycle, the long ester test gave me a real watery look despite adding 20 pounds of weight and dropping fat.. I work towards more of an aesthetic look like Jeff Seid but I didn't know how I was going to handle pinning so I went with the long ester rather than the short ester. During PCT I decided use Clen to keep my intensity in the gym and needless to say, I love this compound. Went from 211 pounds @ 8.6% BF to 203 pounds at 6.8% BF.

All that's left is to keep waiting and see how everything plays out in the months ahead. I will do more blood work 6 months from now to ensure that I maintained a full recovery. I hope I didn't miss anything, I just got home from my job at the steel mill and am exhausted.

I should add... I will be using Raloxifene to hopefully reverse some pubertal gyno that I have been living with for some time now and have had enough of... Will keep everyone posted on that as well.

    Good night everyone,

    Deequarius

Congrats. You made some small gains artificially that you could have easily made naturally with an optimized diet. All at the expense of your pituatary gland. Let me know how that soft erection feels in a couple of years.

Thanks man! I just put it in my calendar to go over in detail the physical characteristics of my soft erection. Are you looking for a summary length description or a full-on manifesto?

A simple psychological profile will do. You decided, against all advice, to shut down your HPTA during primary growth. 99% chance (anecdotal, based on patient experience) that you have stunted your natural production to some degree. You will not have the same gifts at 25-30 that you would have had. It's good that you quit early - but given your smartass attitude, it's only a matter of time before you hop right back on. Which is good news to me, as I'm in endocrinology. See you, little bro.

another youngster thinking he's got it all figured out by taking drugs instead of doing it the right way in the gym and in the kitchen.

It's good that things are seemingly well, but most who have been around this longer will be the first to tell you the problems can arise later. You aren't out of the woods yet. Hopefully you are, but time will tell.

Posts like this concern me because too many young guys will see this as an affirmation to use anabolic steroids at a young age. I have seen far too many guys come through my clinics with problems caused by a single cycle and I get regular PMs from similar guys here asking for medical input into their problems caused by steroids.

One successful cycle at a young age certainly does not advocate cycling at a young age. Every person should thoroughly research these compounds and their effects. Unfortunately, "research" for many means nothing more than, "which compounds will make me look like a body builder tomorrow".

    That's not research.

Really the only post here that was in any constructive was from MI. I said to everyone that I was going to give my results post cycle, good or bad. Most of you guys seem to feel that I am wrong to post my results because as it appears now, my natural test recovered. I will say this... NOT ALL 18 YEAR OLDS SHOULD CYCLE. I made the decision for myself and that's that. I apologize that my test levels recovered and that you didn't get to see my HPTA crash like you all were hoping to see.

It sounds like you got post cycle bloods to soon after cycle. How long did you wait?

Was thinking the same thing. How long after pct was it Deeq? I'd get more after about 6 months total in your situation.
Also, I'd be interested in seeing 6.8% BF pic. PM me if you like. Curious as I'm heading in for a Bod Pod assessment this Friday myself.

Agree. And I think It's best if guys so young don't post cycle logs to encourage other young guys to cycle. Broadcasting it isn't a good idea.

and if he had for the sake of , well whatever, the blood work wouldnt mean shit as the serm use will elevate numbers for quite some time post pct, but of course you already know that, just so everyone now does.

complete waste of time having bloods done so early, and from the looks of things taking steroids was a complete waste of time. Infact why didn't you do this right and learn how to train and take your body to complete failure to built serious muscle tissue and mass and learn how to eat to feed growth.

Your going to have problems down the line and I recommend any newbie not to listen to anything this guys says of does, he has no idea what he is doing or how to achieve goals.

D you seem like a pretty smart guy for 18. Looks like you got good genetics, and you seem to be going in the right direction with your traing and diet. I understand wanting to o improve and take it to the next level. But you just arent there yet, you havent paid your "dues" quite yet. Use your last cycle as a learning experience and continue to lift and grow naturally until the time is right! I myself stopped and have only run my trt dose for over 2 years now because i felt i started gear before i had reached my natural limit and felt i needed to learn how to put on mass without gear(and im 34) i have since maintained and even put on afew pounds of lean mass. So my point to all this is dont be so quick to cut corners, learn how to bulk naturally. Then when you do start cycling again you will grow much better. Good luck and i hope you consider holding off alittle longer.

OP, your mind is made up and it seems doubtful anybody here is going to be able to convince you otherwise since you know so much more than everybody anyway. But at the very least, quit trying to BS everyone with fake muscle gain and bodyfat % numbers. These guys are too smart for that. You didn't drop bodyfat % and gain 20lbs of muscle in 6 weeks on low dosed gear that barely elevated you above high normal test ranges. Plain and simple...didnt happen. Even if you won't admit it, I hope you can start to realize people on here with more knowledge and experience are still just trying to help you. Stay away from the gear and stay safe.

Why is no one questioning his research? I stopped reading after the sentence stating he questioned HCG 's efficacy. Clearly he does not know how to do proper research. Here you go OP, here is your efficacy...

    http://press.endocrine.org/doi/abs/1.../endo-53-6-604

An Error Occurred Setting Your User Cookie

And this third study states why HCG is a viable option for us. It states that the beta subunits, which are just chains of amino acids, of HCG are similar to the beta subunits in the LH and FSH. In layman's terms, it mimics LH and FSH and in that mechanism performs a similar function.

Just so everybody knows.. I do not plan on cycling Again in the near future. I'm happy where I am right now and am going to continue to grow and build naturally. My new focus isn't going to be at being the biggest guy possible but rather focus on wellness. I feel great and I look pretty good and I'm going to continue here on out with food. I'm entering graduate school in the spring and have accepted an internship on the west coast for this coming summer and I want to focus on nurturing my career. I won't be posting on the forums any longer. The next time you guys will hear from me will be in 6 months just to give blood work results and after that I will be gone again. I understand why you guys don't like the fact that an 18 year old cycled but I don't like how I keep getting accused of social profiteering at the expense of the well-being of younger members. I want to reiterate this: I do not support nor condone cycling at my age or any age in the ball park of my age. There is a lot of risk involved. I hope everyone continues to live healthy lifestyles and new people joining the forum looking to cycle stick around and read and take advice from the vets here. They are all very experienced and knowledgable.

    Forever,

Why don't you at least post photos to back up your results?

That way you don't look like you've been trolling everyone the whole time and / or just seeking attention.

I'll just give you this info too before I leave. I'm a double major in Finance and Political Science. I stopped with poli sci degree after I earned my BA. I graduated from high school when I was 16. My high school in graduated from is a special charter school where everyone leaves with two years of college credits targeted for their respective field completed. And while in college I take 18-21 credit hours per semester so that is how I got ahead so quickly.

If all that's true, it might explain your tendency to let your "knowledge" get ahead of what others have learned through real life experience. I think its a wise decision to slow down and back away from the drugs until your maturity level has had time to catch up with your intellect.

I don't think any of it is true. It appears to all be a facade.

scary what the Internet can drum up. Anyone can say anything. The fact that he won't post photos leads me to believe everything he says is a lie- Similar to a lot of teenagers who want to be accepted by the older crowd and say whatever they need to get accepted even if that means lying unfortunately.

All of a sudden he is leaving for school and won't be on the Internet for 6 months. In reality he got called out and everyone spotted fraud.

It takes a very brazen and unique personality to write a cycle log as a teenager. It was all just attention seeking.

The problem is that everyone's health is at risk by the BS being posted and fake stats and numbers being tossed around.

Frustrating for new comers to read this crap, including myself.

Time will tell. Sounds like a typical 18 yr old who wants instant gratifications and and automatically thinking everything is OK right away. It could be months before something shows up or before you really know so dont be so quick to say you are OK or nothing is wrong.

Do shorter cycles such as 4-6 weeks have a lower chance of damaging your hpta in the long term? My guess is they do so why would you run a 12 week cycle as your first one when your concerned about recovery.

Because with a longer ester steroid you won't see any results.

If you're over 25 years old you could run a Test Prop cycle for 8 weeks. However, Prop has more Post injection Pain than the longer esters and you have to pin every day or every other day so for a first cycle this is really difficult. Pinning twice per week for a first cycle not including HCG can be quite stressful.
