College Athlete with questions
Hey there guys. I’m a 21 year old man going into my senior football season at a school that will reamin unnamed hahaha. I’m not planning on using anywhere near the doses I normally read about on this forum but I am about to start a very mild Turinabol cycle, unpopular I know. but, since I am a college athlete and already pretty finely tuned, the only thing I’ll need is that slight conpetetive edge and I think turinabol is the perfect drug for what I’m looking for. NOW FINALLY, I’ll as my question. How should I eat on this stuff? My goal is to do a body recomp while getting rid of a little offseason fat that I’ve built up AND put on good- performance boosting muscle. Long wishlist but hey I’m a greedy guy lol. Any ideas on what my Macros should look like on this? I’m 6’ tall, 210 pounds, and I train 5 days a week. (As a sidenote, I’ve been leaning towards eating slightly above maintenence calories amd hoping the gear will make up for that surplus)
And yes, fellas. I know of the dangers. I know that my test levels will be suppressed while on. I have accepted all of these. i am doing this to gain an edge in a very competetive sport so I am willing to deal with the consequences. So, while your concern for my well-being is appreciated amd does not go unnoticed, it will probably fall of deaf ears. I am a college athlete and have decided what I need to do.
And please save any of the “THAT’S CHEATING” b.s.
Just ask any competetive power lifter on here, if you want to keep doing what you love and be good at it, you have to take that extra step. Just bc you aren’t taking them, doesn’t mean everyone else isn’t too Just the way it is

And I’d really like the replies to be focused on my diet while on the drugs, not the drugs themselves. I know there are many people on here that have an awful lot of “on-cylce diet” (yeah that’s what we’ll call it lol) information and tips, and I would be very appreciative to gain some of that knkwledge from you all.

Check the diet section. Read through the stickies first. Make up a diet plan and make a thread in that section you'll get much better responses. Losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time is not an optimal way to do things. Cut the fat first.
At your age using AAS is much more risky and you may end up going through tough and painful times trying to get your natural test production back. Read through these threads:

Nobody is going to help a young guy mess your hormones for little to no gains.
You talk about diet question, but what you really want is confirmation that your oral only cycle is great. Guess what? Its crap. Sorry if its not what you want to hear.
Be happy if after 6 months of your cycle you are the same as you were before it.

I don’t want my intentions to be misunderstood. So let me clear some things up here.
1) I have read many different forums so I know the type of person you are referring to. “I want to take winstrol (or other oral) and gain 45 pounds after sitting on the couch for the last 16 years of my life.” Trust me, that isn’t me.
2) I’m not looking for validation of a cycle lol. I see why you would think that. BUT, I don't understand why you think I don’t want diet advice! Why would I take time out of my day to do this if I had no intentions of gaining diet knowledge?!
I think you guys are so used to dealing with entitled kids that you’re struggling to recognize a real athlete looking for more knowledge. I want to PLAY FOOTBALL better, not have the tightest fitting t-shirt in gym class haha

My second post in this thread even says “I want to focus on my diet, not the drugs.” How does that equate to not wanting diet advice?

I’d also like to add that we have coaches that normally take care of this lol. I’m coming here for advice becuase I can’t walk up to a coach and say, “Hey coach, I started doing steroids the other day and I was wondering if I should change the way I eat. Any tips?”

The reason you aren't being helped is because your cycle is garbage. Oral only is stupid - it's that black and white. If you don't like the facts then smarten up.
Why would we help you on your diet just so you can then turn around and do an oral only cycle?

OP, read the WHOLE reply:
I am not too well educated on the topic, but I believe the issue is: orals kill your liver. The reason people inject is because that bypasses the liver. They (orals) can probably be done for 6ish weeks without doing too serious damage, but that is not long enough of a cycle to make any substantial changes. You will just shut down your natural test production for no reason, and be worse off than when you started.
I am far from an expert, and you are too young to be destroying your natural testosterone production
As a college athlete, your goal is (if it is not, it should be) to maintain your scholarship and get your tuition paid for. Keep in mind what your long term goals in life are. Are they get a degree and get a good job? Or are they fuck up your natural T production and have to be on TRT of the rest of your life sticking needles in your body twice a week?

An oral only cycle is really just popping a pill, there will not be any gains so your not going to need to change your diet. The only advantage the pill will give is attitude and since your playing football at an elite level, you probably already know how to cultivate the right attitude.
Just eat the way you would normally to accomplish the goal.
