Question on oil thickness and syringe size

Is there some kinda chart or small app (can be designed) that sorts every injectables by name/oil/soluble thickness to match suggested syringe size ?

    Thanks in advance

Viscosity of specific carrier oils can vary. I have shot super thin grapeseed oil and very thick.

Though 25 gauge 1" is the best catch all needle I have found. Some draw with 20 and shoot with 25 but I am a cheapskate.

This is confusing, I think the only gear that doesn't fit in any size needle is probably ridiculously painful lol. Someone on here had injectable winstrol that would not even go through a 22g and it had incredible pip.

The oil should be perfectly clear regardless of what compound

I have shot some pain free molasses stuff but also some very painful.

Thinnest I ever saw was SR health tech and it was like water. You could fill a 29 guage in a few seconds. It was good painless stuff too. Have no clue what carrier it was but I loved the consistency.

Agreed. I went with 25 gauge 1” for IM glute injection. Although now I use insulin syringes now. I think 29 gauge would work fine. The oil I have is fairly thin so it would draw up with any gauge. Just takes a little while

You guys are right, with soo many labs there's no standard viscosity.

I just use 20g to draw and 25g to pin.

That seems to be the time tested method.

    I still learn.

I injected with a 10ml barrel out of necessity a couple times. Man it draws fast but it takes a team of horses to push that shit back out a 25 guage. Makes perfect sense but for some reason I didnt foresee this lol

I use a 1 1/2" 22G to draw and pin. Same needle. Using it to draw with kind of dulls it a little but you get used to it.

22 is a good piece of steel.

Personally I draw w a 31g and then go visit my friends on Saturn, by the time I return it's about halfway done or so

In all seriousness.. I feel like waiting a min or so each time probably is worth avoiding the eventual hand slip and then putting in a hole in my hand with the 20g lmao

It really dulls somewhat when you draw from 2 different vials then pin. But at my age and been doing this for so long it ain't no big deal. However Terumo brand pins are a little sharper than BD.

    Terumo... I will try those.

My first cycle I ran with cattle needles I purcgased at a feed store.
    It sucked.
I would jam it in an have to cover the hole up with my finger to keep the med in.

I even washed and reused them.

    16-18 guage
I am thankful for 25's today

I think sr is gso and MCT from what I've read on thier subforum a while ago. I think it's the amount of EO they use that gets it so thin and smooth. Could be wrong.

Isn’t val MCT too? How do they compare in terms of viscosity of the Test E for example compared to other brands? It seems thin to me but it’s the only gear I’ve ever used so I don’t really know!

I draw with an 18G and, generally, inject with a 24G. I did use injectable Winstrol (Use is a strong term) but the ONLY way I could get that into my glute was by using an 18G to also inject. I only did that 2-times and gave up.

.. what the fuck is this real life?? 18g to inject ?!?

That is one of the craziest things I've ever heard. Pretty sure shooting yourself point blank with a BB gun would be less painful lol.. did the injections leave scars?

No marks from it but it was a less that pleasant experience.

The Terumo brand is sharper and has a finer finish than the BD. If you use them just to pin you should feel a difference. But if you use the same needle to draw and pin it'll defeat the purpose. They're usually more expensive than BD.

Nope, but like many who commented already, I draw with a 20 or 23g and pin with a 25g. I also just go ahead and pin with the 23g sometimes as it's not bad at all.

I need to get some smaller pins. I draw with an 18 and inject with a 1 1/2" 22g. I can push it out of the syringe easy though lol.

I take it the sediment of the suspension woyld plug the needle?

I had a horrible time with some water based test suspension. I could not get it through anything without loading a pocket of air with it, keeping it shook up after insertion, and then shoving the plunger hard and fast, without pause.

Most of it went in my pecks just so I could lean forward and backward to keep it shook up after insertion.
I am sure it looked as stupid as it was.

I draw with a 23 ga, anything bigger and it tends to eat the rubber stopper and then oil leaks out of I lose the air seal and it’s a pain to draw up.

I use a 27ga whenever I can, but with some oils it takes a while and when in an awkward reach around position applying force for 2-3 ml through the 27 can’t help but wiggle the pin around a bit, so sometimes will just use a 25 to be in and out. For quads def use a 27 though.
A note is the smaller diameter the syringe the more force is generated to push the oil, so easier to use a small diameter 1ml for a 1ml injection than a 3 ml or 5ml. but if tip is not a Luer lock on the 1ml the force can pop the syringe off the needle.

All I can say about water is that if short esters bother you, DO NOT shoot it sub Q in the belly fat.

I had to drain an abcess and it burned like hell upon impact. I would shoot it there when my pecks got too sore and carry a lump in the fat for weeks. I did it because I could not get the darn stuff in me unless I had it in front keeping it shook. I would shoot it and wait for the fire. It was like acid. Shoot, yell, and repeat

Finally the abcess was the last straw.
That stuff was a pain in the ass but it was instantaneous results.
