Cialis for BP work good for you?
My insurance is switching and I am going to have around a week lapse, perhaps more if the new Dr has a booked schedule. I'm trying to get some BP med refills but if I don't I am going to be out of BP meds for a week or so. I currently take lots of supplements but the Wellbutrin and Lisinopril are my only RXs. I have extra Wellbutrin but not lisinopril which is the BP med.
I have seen many of you mention taking Cialis for BP. Does it work well for you? I am thinking of ordering some Cialis ASAP in case I have to go a week without BP meds. I will get back under Dr's care ASAP but i'd rather have my BP controlled than have nothing.
Any input about Cialis for BP control would be appreciated!

Thx for the input. I took my last test shot and if I run out of BP med it will be after the test has cleared my system. I’m hoping the BP med won’t be an issue but it helps my peace of mind if I have a back up plan just in case I run out before can get next fill.

I know in most cases for myself through the years if you just call your doctor he will call in your Lisinopril no problem . It's not a narcotic and they know you need it.
So give them a call brother . It clears your system in 3 days pretty much and your bp is nothing to play with.

Thx for input. I took last test shot last week so if this happens in a few weeks I won’t have PED in system. I’m looking to get a refill in time but it gives me peace of mind to have a backup plan. Sounds like it could be good for a short term bandaid in a worst case scenario.

They’re not going to run a hormone panel for BP. They’ll happily refill and just pay out of pocket or explain the situation and have them write you generic atenolol which is pennies.
They can even give you a month worth of an ARB samples..

Between 5mg cialis, Lisinopril & Amlodipine I keep my BP at a constant 130-135/70-78
Unfortunately my MD won’t prescribe the Cialis, he said Viagra or Cialis - I picked the 1st. The Cialis I still get from India

If you need to pay out of pocket for a refill:
https://www.goodrx.com/lisinopril
It doesn't look that expensive.

It’s not paying for the refill the script is cheap. It’s the dr. My dr is out of town and I’m out of refills and dr gets back during 1 week insurance lapse. Normally I can call in for a refill but I’m going to have to try to see if another dr or their assistant can help get it handled. I don’t want to pay for a Dr visit out of pocket if it can be helped so that’s why Ive thought about supplementing for around a week.
Edit: It’s most likely a non issue but if having a backup gives peace of mind for cheap it seems worth.Last edited by DinAZ; 08-24-2021 at 05:23 PM.

You can buy cheap ace inhibitors, calcium channel blockers and ARB’s online with no RX from India. That’s an easy option too
Good luck

Finally got the MA to give me a refill! Also got some extra Indian BP meds on the way.
IDK if I’ll ever need the Indian ones but the peace of mind is worth it.

I’ve had great luck with Indian pharmaceuticals. I wouldn’t be scared to have them as a solid back up. I’m sure it’s great peace of mind getting your refill though, congrats

You know what? 5 years ago I'd agree and say you probably will never use it. But with disruptions of supply lines caused by pandemics, unrest, disasters etc., having some extra at home to get you through a stretch isn't a bad idea. You may never need it, but if you do, you'll be glad it was there.
