Pride 31 Alistair Overeem vs Sergey Kharitonov
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UKvD...rch=pride%2031
I am very impressed by Alistair, he was a lot bigger then when he fought in the middleweights and was way more aggressive.
I really like this side of him and really which to see more.
I tought that Kharitanov was gonna win easy cause he is one hell of a fighter but man did he get banged.
Enjoy.

I'm really glad Overeem won. I'm a big fan. It does look like he lost a bit of speed with the weight increase but it seems like he gained some other skills. He absolutely dominated that fight.

Kharitonov dislocated his shoulder in the first minute of the fight. If you look close you can see him pull his wrist to try to pop it into place while alistair is on top of him. Tough loss for kharitonov. Overeem will get his.

I love Overeem but Kharitonov was hurt...pretty similar situation to Shogun/Coleman. It should have been stopped way earlier, instead he stayed in there and took one hell of an ass kicking.

He certainly did... thats just plain old tough right there. Fighting for almost 10 minutes with a dislocated shoulder.

I do have to say Overeem looked great body wise at HW. He looked jacked, plus his quickness was still there for the most part from what we could see...he definitely looked stronger then Kharitonov with the throw/takedown.

I reallyl like Kharitonov...he is a great fighter and is young. I hope that he does not continue to have problems with his shoulders....this is the second time this has happened to him. He would have beat Overeem if not injured.

like everyone else, i was disappointed in that fight. one thing that doesn't sit right with me is that kharitonov looked like crap even before the shoulder injury. he just plain looked fat and bloated.
