Im a TKD master and thats what they call a 360 roundhouse, and it's not that the guy doesn't protect himself, alot of MMA fighters will fight with hands half down and put them up when needed, what it looked like to me is that the guy got caught completely off guard, he was going to throw an attack and got countered, looked like he was convinced it was going to the body and then wham...in the face, thats actually very unusual for that kick to score to the face, very good timing, that was awesome!!
