Vitor Boxing Debut (vid)
And here you have it:

You can thank me later. Bad thing is that Vitor's opponent did not show anything and Vitor was'nt pushed and we all know Vitor can fight good when his opponent is overmatched. I will wait for Vitor to fight and experienced opponent before making any judgement on his boxing stint.Last edited by Panzerfaust; 04-13-2006 at 11:30 AM.

He's got great hand speed and pretty good combinations but you could see he's having trouble getting the MMA out of him. It looked like he almost shot in while his opponent first moved towards him.

got some good combo's good speed. I see alot of mma in him still though :P
on a side note... i can't believe boxing sometimes...standing some one back up after they have been rocked like that twice ...asking for brain damage.

Vitor looked good but you can definitely still see a lot of MMA in his movements.

He was in good shape, just that he came in at 111kg vs 93kg which is what we are used to seeing him fight in MMA.
And this is for you USfighterFC:

Like how the majority of great heavy wieght boxers have slurred speech and attention problems now due to the consistent traumatic blows to the head (and not just in the ring, sparring as well) - definetly a rough sport

His boxing skills are still very good. Because of his quick arms he feels comfortable against kick-thaiboxers, wrestlers and others too - he dont even have to use his legs (for kicks in mma)

He definately has some great hand speed. He won that very easily. I look forward to seeing his future fights.
