How many UFC fighters would start losing if UFC removed the elbows strikes
Elbows standing and on the ground.
George St-Pierre uses them often, David Loiseau has well, Tito Ortiz, and many others.
How would theses fighters do in Pride rules?
Also would Pride benefit from adding elbows standing and on the ground, i am thinking of Wandy Silva, and the Rua brothers, pertty much all the muay thai fighters.

it would definitely be harder for those guys to get their ground game going. another fighter would be Karo Parisyan.

i think taking away elbow strikes will take away from the spirit of MMA

I wish their were no rules except no eye gouging, nut kicks, hair pulling, o and biting. This is the true way to have a fight.

I like the kicks that Pride has on the ground, I wish UFC would use those instead of elbows. But its not the UFC's fault, its the state athletic comissions that make the rules. When/If Pride comes to the U.S. they will have basically same rules as UFC cuz of the state comissions.

Matt Hughes for sure.

Yeah, he would be wise to try and move up at least one weight class.

ya I think kendall looks so weak, and i dont like him either. Ross was entertaining on the show, but he looked lost out there. Kendall had his way with him, it was embarassing for Ross

Kendall devastated him. I thought Ross was going to make it a good showing with his leg kicks at the beginning of the round, but once Kendall took him down and got him in the clinch, it was all over. Jesus, those elbows were vicious. Kendall's Muay Thai looks pretty good.
