kerr is about 225 now, he is no longer "the titan" "the specimen" or "the smashing machine" he is a shell of his former self and that is sad in its own right, he will never be what he was and he knows that as well as we do. Its to bad he could have been a great one but becouse of his co-dependent girlfriend and drug problems he is a "what could have been". I really hope he ends up fighting simms and beating his ass but he will never again be a player on the big show

Kerr was on massive amounts of juice BUT appeared to be a very nice person. Probably the most effective take down artist in the game...however...i doubt that he could go very far in the game today. The fighters today...would probably hurt Mark....especially if he's only 225. The dude used to weight 275lbs...A SOLID BEAST!

He was never that heavy......except when he was fat and out of shape like in Abu Dhabi

Abu dhabi is like a very prestigious submission wrestling tourny Kerr won 2 of them I believe but more often the not it was a takedown so it was 2-0 score. He was really critized for this that he didn't attempt more then simply holding his opponent down

In some of his later ones yeah he was severly out of shape and even when he fought Igor the first time he was way to heavy and gassed. Right before the GP and later on he often came in out of shape and to heavy.

He wasnt really out of shape for his first fight but he did come in a little heavier than normal. The fight was called a draw because of Igors illegal knees at the end of the fight when the 4 point rule wasnt adopted yet. Kerr only trained about 2 weeks for the fight. In the second fight he was in much better shape and sat around 240-245 which was his prime fighting weight. Igor just beat him up anyway.

Against Ricardo Arona he came in weighing close to 290. They club was very disappointed when they saw how out of shape he was and how big the gut was.

here's how it went down. 2 amature fights to begin with. pretty good. after that the ring announcer said that kerr broke his hand and would not be able to fight, you have 10 min. to get a refund. about 20 sec. later he was laughing and said just kidding. 3 fights before kerr was supposed to fight the ceo came into the cage with kerr, dressed in street closed and his hand tapped up. he appologized to the crowd and said " i'm not retired i will fight again." he said he got 3 doctor's to help him out, but they all declined. next wes walk's in, grabs the mike frome the ceo, and goes nuts. he said he only found out about it just now. get's in the ceo's face telling him i'm going to fight, then look's at kerr, and said " i came here to whoop your ass, then looks at the crowd, and say's you are all witnessing kerr's retirement. Right then i see mark coleman come in the cage. saying i would fight you wes, but your my boy. then look's at kerr and say's " i'd be happy to whoop your ass though. and throws the mike down.
then a spectar calls coleman a sissy. so now mark grab's the mike and tells him to get in here. security breaks it up before any thing happens though. kerr said nothing the entire time it was going on. the ceo say's it's going to set the match back up in july. after all is done a spectator asks coleman after he left the ring that i was sitting close by, said are you going to go back to pride. coleman responded. not sure but i hope so.

Well if hes off the juice and off the drugs even if he is 225 more power to him. If he had to be what he was to be great or be what he was to become great, hes better off the way he is now.

They trained together but I would not say Mark was Kerrs idol they trained together years ago I believe in like 98/99. Wes has been training with Mark since 2000 so that was no surprize Mark would be in Wes's corner. They both figured they would fight each other in the 2000 GP so I dont think they are great friends I would so more aquintances(sp) then anything.
