Rumor: Sakuraba to fight BJ Penn in K-1

K-1 Producer Sadahuru Tanigawa stated from Staples Center some interesting comments to the Japanese media regarding recently signed Kazushi Sakuraba`s future with K-1 HERO`S.

According to Tanikawa, there are plans to set a fight between Kazushi Sakuraba and BJ Penn or Melvin Manhoef for the K-1 HERO`S 85 kilogram tournament.

Both Sakuraba and Tanigawa also adressed Sakuraba`s desire to return to UFC in the future. For this, Tanikawa is considering an offer from UFC to use Sakuraba in a future event but this details are still under talks from both parties.

bj penn was suppose to compete at the next ufc event, but seems like he may face saku instead

It's all pretty much speculation right now. But Saku was also sighted at UFC 60 so you never know..

true, but to take him off a card and the saku rumour starts is very suspicious. also bj penn was on loan from k-1 to the ufc. hes still under contract with k-1
