    I am gunna have to agree. I am not sure if he will get owned, but Hughes will take it. He took Penn too lightly last time, he wont make that mistake again.

    He did it once, he can do it again.

    I think Hughes is gonna take this fight though.

    BJ came in at 166lbs which tells me he has definately done more cardio training, he is a bad matchup for Hughes IMO.

    Striking = BJ
    Submissions = BJ
    Wrestling = Hughes
    Takedown Defense = Both

    This fight is gonna boil down to Hughes getting BJ down and keeping him down and on his back..that could be a problem but the later the fight goes, the better off Hughes will be, at least looking at them in the past.

    BJ will come out hard most likely, not really sure what he plans to do.

    I want BJ to win but Hughes seems to pull it off when he needs to.

    We shall see, i give Hughes a slight edge here.

    Matt won in the 3rd after being completely dominated for the first 2. BJ blew his entire wad trying to sub Hughes at the end of round 2 with a crazy triangle/ arm bar combo! He couldn't even walk/keep his hands up in the 3rd After that, all hughes! He issolated BJ's head and pounded away, completely unblocked. After the fight, GSP gets on the mic and tells hughes that he was very unimpressed and looks forward to their fight. Hughes got really pissed off at GSP and though it wan't caught on tape, Rogan said they exchanged words. Hughes aid that he wished BJ was in shaped because he wanted to go 5 rounds. Bj just gassed cause he through EVERYTHING he had into that sub attempt. It was funny seeing Hughes completely unable to take bj down. that dude is so flexible, he was able to sprawl with one leg while hughes had the other bent the wrong way....sick!

    B.J.'s combination of talent and lack of conditioning is frustrating. He would be unstoppable at 170 if he had a full gas tank. Watching Jens lose sucked, but his post-fight interview was great. Pretty decent event overall.

    i know...pissed me off... ic an't believe bj gassed out...so sad...i didn't understand wtf he was going for with his arm...i'm pretty sure if he would have just cranked on his head in that weird semi triangle he could have tapped him.

    for any of you knowledgable guys here ...wasn't that impressive when bj took his back at the end of 2? I couldn't believe he did that .... so much talent!

    Joe Rogan makes it a point to say omaplata at least once per show.
