Educational Funding Company...I need help.
Hey fellas,
Anybody know anything about this company? Their name is Educational Funding Company. They are the company that I pay every month thru my BJJ gym. I'm trying to cancel my account because I'm moving far away and won't be able to attend anymore, and this company has been very rude to me on the phone and seems very shady. They said they need proof that I'm moving, and also said I signed a 3 year contract, when I only signed a 1 year. I can't afford to pay these a$$holes for 3 f'n years! I thought I was only signed up for 1, and my instuctor told me that if I moved that the contract would be void provided I gave them proper documentation. I'm really pissed off about this and feel I've been had and all I wanted to do was learn some mma. Guess there's sleazeballs in every business.

how are you paying??? contact the bank or credit card and put a do not pay order in..
then write a letter cancelling the contract, 1 yr or 3.. they will mess with your credit, but you can file a complaint with the attorney General in the state that they operate in..
see how it gets ugly??

re
Thanks for the reply spywizard.
I'm going to speak to EFC tomorrow and request a faxed copy of my contract. I'll send them my new info in a week or two. If they give me any trouble tomorrow, I will call my credit card company and ask for a stop payment, and also threaten efc w/ legal.
I'm sick of companies tryin to bleed $$$ out of me every which way they can. They all need to get ****ed.

hmm usually gym's pay a fee just to have them take payment for year contract. Your gym owner will have to take care of it. If you cancel your card and all that , they are just gonna put a mark on your credit and make you go through hassel. Make your gym owner do it.
