Well if its a way of life for you guys then good luck but its really hard to get in the pros.
You have to have really good contacs, and be very good.
You guys are young and i to old and with my back pain its over for me.
Sorry again Armbar and good luck in your career, and everyone else that wants to compete.

But the thing is, I don't really see a lot of sparring or training happening.
There's a once-a-week Muay Thai class with no punching/kicking bags and no sparring. There's two small martial arts centers whose instructors have their belts in tae kwon do and karate, but have started offering a few "MMA" classes on the side. There is also a Gracie-approved Jiu-Jitsu academy that has a separate "MMA" class; that academy sounds like it's probably better than the rest, but I have no firsthand knowledge about its quality.
I don't really look down on all these supposed "MMA fighters". What they do is better than some of the other stuff they could be doing. If they're happy with their level of involvement in fighting, that's great. But I agree, you can't always take somebody 100% seriously when they claim to be a fighter.

waste of thread space.... but to each his own. Is that a new training exercise driving a firetruck? That highlight reel reminded me of Rocky 1379875287587867.

ummmm your wrong. You have to be "PRO" to fight in most MMA sanctioned events. Unless its underground "back yard" event and if caught you wont be able to fight pro for a long long time and any other things they may happen legally.
You are right not everyone is pro. Thats where Pancrease comes in. For amatuers who are not skilled enough to fully take on full force fights. Im sorry but that highlight real was crap. Both guys were sloppy and im sorry but i dont enjoy watching that. Everyone seems to be a fighter once they have done a fight and its annoying. Again if i wanted to watch highlight reals i would go put in rocky 21432531465134613466.

Ok so how come Patrick Cote fought in amateur MMA bouts before turning pro in TKO?
Seems to me its kind of weird, i remember GQ Bouncer posting one of is fights and said it was amateur has well.
Even if the guys are pro doesnt mean they are any good.
