Tie Clinches info
I had a queston are tie clinches hard to get out of or counter?I have noticed that quinton jackson had no answer for shoguns tie clinch or wanderlies tie clinch and I was just wondering about that anyway let me know.

***ends on how good the guy is at clinching. Lots of different counters for a tai clinch. The most common is to hand fight.

yah... the over hand right ends thai clinches good...but you have to risk getting knee'd in the face ... :\

I cannot explain it to you, of course there are proper ways to defend the Thai clinch but once a "Good" Muay Thai guy clinches you, it ****ing sucks. The keyword here is "good", of course there is a difference between me Thai clinching you and Wanderlei or Bukauw.

Agreed... there are counters, for sure, but counters that don't leave you KTFO by a serious knee from a good Muy Thai guy like Wandy are hard to execute without lots of practice and still you run the risk...

A guy thats been working with me on MT has been having me use both hands to pop him in the solar plexis while ducking out and breaking away. He tears me up when he gets me in the clinch.
