Im also curious as to where you heard this? I think we'l see the Hughes Serra fight becuase so many people want to see it, and IMO hughes will win. John Fitch should be up for a title shot or very close. But I dont think he'l stop GSP.

gsp did say he would fight a rubber match with matt serra in his hometown. either way i dont think either of them deserve a shot. i would rather see gsp vs pitbull or gsp vs fitch.

true, but nowhere near the caliber of opponents gsp has been taking out. i think alves has a better chance of sprawl and brawling gsp than fitch has of out wrestling gsp.

I've thought this before about other fighters, but I can't help thinking that there's no fighter currently under UFC contract that can beat [email protected]e BJ Penn...MAYBE.

bj is prolly the best chance at 170 of beating gsp imo.

bj with cardio is the best chance, and still it would be a battle.
I cant weight to see bj destroy Sherk, I cant stand that guy.

bj would be a worthy but insignificant challenge to gsp. since they last fought gsp has been constantly improving, i havnt seen the same thing from bj though. if in any thing i think he has gotten weaker and gsp has gotten stronger. if he couldnt beat him then i find it hard to believe that he could take him now.

as far as sherk and bj, i think that penn is in for a long night. i dont believe that he will be able to keep up with the pace of sherk after the second round, and will end up repeadilly taken down. however bj could hit a submission early, but i see him in trouble the longer the fight goes. this is an even fight and im not to sure which way it will go.
