How long are you supposed to stretch?

15 minutes? 30? 60? I am just interested in stretching my legs, back and hips. Thanks in advance.

You should really stretch everything out... I take at least 15 mins to properly get everything out...

    What are you training?

Less then 10 mins. I don't stretch the entire body just the muscles i worked that day (normally right after being worked). I never stretch before only after.

I was asking for after Rehab.

Right now I am stretching 1 hour a day as per a Physical therapist assistants hap hazard instructions.

I used to lift weights, only. Then I got excruciating pain in my left thigh. An orthopedic doctor told me my muscles were too tight which pinched nerve's.

    Thank you all very much.

Roughly 10 minutes. More if you have mobility issues or are nursing an injury.
