I am not sure that GSP can get an in shape Penn down to the mat where he can take advantage of his superior wrestling. I really think that Penn is going to keep it stand and surprise some people with his heavy hands.

Plus Penns been right on target with his knees lately, GSP better set those take down attempts up well or he's going to be asking what happened like Sherk.

Imo opinion I dont think GSP/Silva would be a good fight at all. I think GSP would lose mentally before he even got in the ring. I would love to see what he would look like bulked up to 185 though, Ive always wanted to stand next to him just to see how big he is.

I think that GSP would be overwhelmed for sure but there is not a whole lot of shame in that being that I believe Silva could hang with every top fighter at 205 if not win. I also wonder how big he is in person. I would assume that he seems rather small.

I saw hughes, didnt get to stand next to him but he was pretty big. Im 5'7" just about 210 right now and those guys probably walk around at 200, I dont know GSP is so damn overpowering it just blows my mind. See what he looks like next to Alves I guess.

Your right though, no shame in losing to AS, but like it was said before I think they could set up better fights, I dont think GSP would be a good one.

sean sherk is a midget compared to gsp. what is he, like 5'6, 5'7 maybe? and gsp is more like 6'? it would take a monster clinch or some flying knees to do any damage to someone that much taller

i agree with gsp v silva, just like his first fight with matt hughes, gsp would probably see this beast across the ring and just cover up to soften the blows..

i doubt he'd be much bigger, like i know walking around he is, but he can't cut 15 pounds of muscle to make 170, so i think he would just look softer, like as did at 205.

For some reason Anderson still looked skinny to me at 205. He is just a lean dude that does not carry to much muscle but has a very large frame.

Yeah Alves is the true test of how big someone is at 170. I know that everyone loves to say that so and so is huge for the weight that they fight at but I think that Alves is enormous for a Welter and Griffen is a large large man at 205.

I couldnt agree more about griffin, I think when guys finally get in the ring and see how big he is they jam up a little bit. Especially the pride guys, seems UFC 205's are much larger then prides.

tito is a big boy, but cutting 25 pounds isn't that bad if you do it right.

i would think sean sherk is big for his weight. if he was an inch taller no way he'd be able to cut to 155.

i wouldn't say pride guys are small, look at rampage and wanderlei. definitely not small guys and they can hang with anyone in 205 (especially wanderlei in his prime)
