    Post UFC 94.

    BJ vs. GSP.

Most saw it happening this way. Honestly, I think BJ is a more skilled fighter. If he ever looses a leg in a car accident, I would not even feel bad for him cause he moves very well on 1 leg. The guy is so versatile on the ground and flexible, GSP is just too big and strong for a rubber guard for BJ.

GSP was too big, too strong, too big of a gas tank. The guy is probably the most athletic fighter in MMA.

I was actually surprised when Alves came in the ring and how big he looked. He looks bigger than GSP. GSP was very impressive, he has Greg Jackson putting together his plans, I look forward to him fighting against Spider. Jackson can make the perfect game plan, and GSP is the perfect athlete.

    Thiago Vs. Macheeta.

unfortunately, went as expected also. Thiago, being the genius that he is, fights exactly like he normally does, and exactly how he should NOT have vs. Macheeta.

I don't think Macheeta is that hard to figure out. He's in and out......catch him on the way in and quit chasing him. Make the ref tell him to press the fight. I think Rampage or Evans can catch him with a nice hook on the way in.

he looked impressive, but honestly....did he look a little slow? I felt it was pretty obvious when he was coming in to strike.

Good card if you wanted to place secure bets though, no real upsets on the main events.

Alves is a monster. Very good young fighter but I do not think he is quite ready yet. It was cool to see him and GSP so respectful of one another. Alves has a whicked sprawl and I think if he keeps the fight standing then he has a real shot but George is on fire right now.

Penn does not seem interested in fighting.

Machida is legit. I hate to say it but he was really impressive. I think the boring rap is getting a little old so lets see how he does against a top shelf light heavy. My guess is maybe a fight against Forest or maybe even right in there with Evans.

Actually I think very very few people saw the GSP fight going this way. Everyone thought it was gonna be super competetive. But GSP completely dominated. Penn didn't win a single round.

I was always confident Machida was gonna win but didnt excpet him to finish right in the first round.

I just got back in from Vegas today and so happy that I got to attend such a historic fight.

I did not see BJ getting dominated like that. GSP was simply bigger and stronger. I don't think we give the fact that BJ stepped up in wieght to take the fight enough credence. They aren't equals. It killed me to see penn dominated like that.
Machida is the one that impressed me most. He took alves into his web, but then he was pretty aggressive. I was really impressed with him. Beating Evans? No. Jackson? yes. THe noring knock on him is outdated, I agree.
