UFC 99 predictions..?
Let's put it this way, Wandy is my favorite fighter, and I do believe he is the best LHW of all time (not lately, obviously). So for his sake, I hope he wins, with a spectacular knockout, and then immediately retire. I really don't wanna see him go down the same path as chuck, pulver, etc...

i love him too ,and i love fraklin ,but i would like to see him win and fight anderson silva ,cause of the bad blood ,but its going to be pretty hard to get by franklin.
i think iam going to be rooting for wandy ,but i think franklin is the smarter fighter ? i really dont know on this one ...depends on what wandy shows up ,i will know 2 minutes into the fight and i will pick

who ever lands the first punch will win the fight. wandy comes out and will overwhelm alot of fighters in the first 30 sec. if rich can weather the storm and slow the pace, i think that his being a more fundamentally sound than wandy could b the diff. chuck kept wandy from getting inside and landing his power punches. with rich being a southpaw i think that it will b hard for wandy to get inside on him. i wouldnt bet on this fight, idk what will happen.

Good fight, but i see bad things for Wand.

I love Wandy so I cannot be objective but that being said I think he can stalk Franklin and put him down. God I can't wait

I just hope he doesn't get added to the list of sad and disappointing retirements. I'm not a fan of either, but I felt so bad when pulver and liddel lost their last fights.
the potential for wand getting ko'd is high, which is why I think he's guna play it smart this time.
can't wait, that's for sure!

I loved watching Wanderlei destroy guys over here during his Pride days. He was so menacing and intimidating that his opponents wouldn't look him in the eye. But I think he's had his day and Franklin's no Spring Chicken anymore either. I think Franklin's going to win this one.

I would love to see silva make a run at the the title but dont see it happening and I see it getting very ugly for silva. Franklin has such akward striking that I dont see silva adjusting to it. Imo the best fight will be uno vs fisher, should be an awsome fight.

Just watched the weigh-ins (on youtube) and Silva looks READY! both came in at 194 but Silva looked harder and more focused. You can tell he's taking this one seriously.
Can't freaking wait!

Glad they added Crocop to the main card. Lets hope he still got some fight in him, this time if he gets KO its over with the UFC

or the sport altogether. we're at a time in mma where most of the old crew is due to exit--and they're doing so in less than spectacular fashion. they need to realize there are more and more younger, stronger, and more skilled fighters entering the sport. I think its time they started working on a retirement plan, and pyramid down the ranks rather than get embarrassed by a few top dogs in a row.

I believe mmashare dot com should have individual fights posted by now.
I'll summarize it real quick for you though: worst decision in mma history.

sorry i might not know the nicks... whos uno?
yeah as for cain ufc sometimes claim things and hype things wayyyyyyyyyy too much, sometimes when i watching preview for upcoming events.
I turn the sound off cause it is really extremely annoying, arguable the best heavey weight in the world, best martial artist in the world, heaviest hands in the world, knock out power to be afraid off, blah blah blah.. then you see them go in the cage and they lay on the floor flopping around like a fish out of its waters. hehehe.

Cain did an amazing job, he just needs to learn not to walk straight at someone and hope his chin holds up. He put on a wrestling clinic against a very powerful man. Like or hate him (personally could care less about im), he did a masterful job against a top ranked guy (?)
Silva/Franklin, too bad these guys looked liked they overtrained. Both gased mid second round. Love wanyd's aggression, Franklin engaged more than I thought he would, but the crowd was happy after a lot of boring ass fights. I would have loved to see this fight 2 years ago, they both seem to be a missing something they had when they finished fights in the past.

do you reckon they just seemed to like they could not connect as much and maybe perhaps are a little slower with age?
or do you reckons it perhaps of weight issue and possibly overtraining cause they were pretty much standing on their last little of what ever they had in their body hehehe....

couldnt really tell to be honest, Franklin was a lot less accurate than usual. He missed about 70% of his left handed strikes which is his bread and butter, it was only after about the 3 minute mark of round 2 when Wandy slowed right down that Franklin made a lot of connects.
I still really liked the fight, especially the "double knockdown" so to speak when Wandy punched as Franklin kicked, down went franklin and a very delayed fall from Wandy. Those guys gave it their all but just couldnt finish.

I would have been impressed had he put on a wrestling clinic against someone who was a decent wrestler. Kongo's ground game is terrible, he has poor takedown defense and poor bjj. Its improved but is still not at the level in which a average wrestler couldnt take him down. It was a solid win for sure but it raised more doubts in my mind. Put him against someone who can stand and is well versed on the ground. A cain vs gonzaga match imho would tell us alot more about him.

Highway ****ing robbery! And they didn't even give Wanderlei any Vaseline before they ****ed him!
Bottom line is this
Rd 1 - Franklin (maybe)
Rd 2 - Silva
Rd 3 - Silva
Who almost ended the fight? Wanderlei!
Who was the aggressor? Wanderlei!
Who got a last minute takedown in which Wand got right back up? Franklin!
This was nothing more than a gift decision to keep Franklin relevant. Franklin was robbed by the notorius "Decision" Dan Henderson so this was like a makeup present for that.
Wand was robbed, I hope they didn't get his wallet to.
Wanderlei cut 12lbs, thats a big cut for the first time, it affected him even though he won't admit it. I saw alot of improvement on his part and 185 (195) will be perfect for him once he adjusts to cutting weight. He was tired and still pressed the fight. Damn shame a man puts it all out there like that and then gets ****ed over by the judges. You can see it all over his face when they call Rich's name...he knew he got jobbed but stayed professional and was respectful. Not me, I call bullshit!
War Wand!***No source checks!!!***

Here, watch it again

I bet they counted Wanderlei having a guillotine and dropping to guard a "takedown" for Rich in Rd1...wouldn't surprise me at all they are so goddamn ignorant.***No source checks!!!***

i love wand. i have not been into mma for long but when i fell in love with it was because of this man.
his aggression is unbelieveable the heart of him is like a wall, just never gives up.
to beat him you must knock him out.

im sorry, clearly you are qualified to be a ufc judge by being on this forum.30-27, 30-27, 29-28. not one agrees with you. sometimes you see what you want too and look past the truth. you come in swinging off balance against a more technical striker you get put on your butt, thats not a slip, thats a fact.
