"Any MMA Fans Dream Fight" AWESOME
I wikipedia GSP and came across something totally ****ing awesome. I guess this is legit.
"St-Pierre will now defend his title against the number-one contender, Thiago Alves, at UFC 100. If he is successful against Alves, Dana White said he will set a match for St-Pierre against middleweight champion Anderson Silva sometime in 2010, possibly at a catchweight"

judging by your name I would guess your a troll. It would just be a catchweight fight you can never really decide the best pound for pound fighter becouse everyone looks at it differently. In my eyes the best pound for pound fighter would have to be able to jump classes and take on as many top contenders as possible or have people able to move up and fight him. Well others look at it and say the best pound for pound fighter just means in a fight even if the fight is unable to take place do to size differences you would have an idea of who would win if they were the same size and were able to fight. The ufc would just bill it as an amazing match up and gsp is big enough to move up to 185 anyway so the only reason it would be at a catchweight is so if he(gsp) won he wouldnt have to defend two titles.

Man i would bet you anything that the hype of this fight would be for the best pound of pound fighter..Hell there is already a bunch of hype between silva and gsp and who is really the best pound for pound fighter. And no i'm sorry but it's a catch weight fight NON TITLE FIGHT.

I honestly feel that at this point GSP would win due to superior wrestling. I have been sour on Anderson after the last few fights but I still see GSP taking this one.

this fight will happen i promise you that they both have agreed, and silva looked great as usall during his last 2 fights he controlled both fights yeah he didnt go in there and make it an exciting fight, but from a martial arts point of view his past 2 performances couldn't have been better he took no damage and inflicted tons.

He didnt inflict tons of damage in his last fight and looked like shit against cote who is a journeymen. He has 1 dimensional fighters and not looked good his last two fights and not looked impressive.
Also why would the ufc put this fight together. Either Gsp loses and with that so does his aura of invincibility and if anderson loses he just a paper champion in most peoples mind even if it is at a catch weight.
