Lesnar just has good enough skills and excellent strength and mass to be be challenged by Carwin imo..

as for carwin (IMO) he did fly under the radar i rember reading about him when he was 6-0 when he was still doing mma part time , and it was under upncomming fighters ,, then he went to 8-0 thats when the ufc signed him since then he has fought a few nobodys and was working his way up the ladder finishing almost all of his opponents in the first round and by killer ground n pound or by sweet one punch knockouts ,then the ufc gave him his first really good fighter and he knocked him out in the first round too ,thats kinda of flying under the radar to me ? so what maybe he did get a shot early ,he deserves it just as much as anyone else , and if you want to talk about OVERHYPED ,i got a few, werdoom and josh barrnet , are soo over hyped ,werdoom was good 5 years ago and barnett wasnt even good 5 years ago when the compition was great over japan he sucked , and in his last 10 fights he is 1 and 2 against top 10 fighters he just started putting away some c minius fighters and every one jumped on him cause they wanted him to fight fedor
You do realize Werdum just beat gonzaga in 08 dont you?

Brock should win this fight with shear aggression. Mir talked alot of shit before his fight and you seen how focused Brock was to make him pay for his mouth. Now Carwin is saying he hates Brock and the way he acts.

Regardless if you like it or not, it's like teasing the gorilla at the zoo, then all of a sudden you fall into the monkey pit.

yea i do but he beat him before too almost the same exact way some poeple can beat some people ,some fighters just have other fighters numbers that dont mean shit , but comming into a fight 40lbs over weight and getting kod a new fighter , that means your a bum and he coudlnt beat arloski either ,bum ...........when your a top leval fighter that just dont happen , i mean guys get knocked out thats part of the game but to come in looking like a slob that just rolled off a bar stool ,that my friend means you are a bum that dont take mma seriously ...you will never see randy couture come in 40 lbs over weight and get kod in the first round by a rookie fighter

Agreed. And i also have to agree that Gonzaga would of beat Carwin 7 out of 10 fights. He just saw he had him stunned and went in for the kill very carelessly and got caught. I also believe Brock will beat Carwin if they were to fight next. He definately needs some more fight time.

broc shouldnt even be fighting these people. they should have a super heavyweight weight class. 206 - 265 is 60 pounds. ALl the other weight classes are 20 pounds.

broc should have never found randy, or mir.....

    just a big unclassy meatball

Carwin is almost the same weight as Brock (i think 5 - 10 lb difference max). Mir is not that much smaller. Maybe 10 lbs smaller. When you get up to those weights that really is not much.

Ah, but they don't have a super heavyweight weight class therefore if someone does not like it they can always lose down to 205.

    "just a big unclassy meatball"

Maybe, but he is the UFC champ because he beat the best fighters in the UFC. So I guess Heath, Randy and Frank rate below "unclassy meatball" status.

    Lightbulb

Ive not seen Carwin fight but after seeing the last Lesnar fight its going to take a big bad man to beat him,,,whether you hate him or love him,,just a fact. Mir got lucky the 1st time...VERY lucky.

Brock makes weight, point blank... HW ends at 265, and he weighs in at that...

the big difference between the HW class and any other class is not just the 60 pound class, but the fact its the only class where u have guys at 15% BF or higher... even brock has alot of fat on him. but still the point remains, the HW class has been that forever (or close enough to call if forever) so lets not hate on broc for being able to meet that..

There are roughly 12 talented Heavyweights in the world. We do not need a Super Heavy division

Exactly. But for the sake of argument lets say we did get a super HW class. What would be the cut off point for that? 300lbs. 350? and why? Then you would just have some 320 pound guy bitching because his opponent is 355.

a SUPER HEAVY WEIGHT DIVISION IS DUM.............
I hate when people bitch about the weight ,they guys make the required weight limit so it dont matter.all as it is ,is another reason for people to bitch about brock or any fighter that is dominate in there weight class , if these guys are so much smaller then brock why dont they fight at 205 because if frank mirr cut as much weight as thiago silva or lesnar , he could prolly fight at 205 ,but it is stupid because he is a heavyweight and so is brock he is just a little bigger .. dont hate ....

I agree. If Mir is all pissed off about it he could eat more and take a little of the HGH the other guys are on , bust his ass with the weights for a few years and fight at 270-285 just like Brock. Or lose down to 205 and then hit the mat at 240 and have that weight class bitching.
