    A fitness question

So im looking at having my first amature boxing match in my hometown in the next few months, but i want my fitness to be brilliant so i can impress everyone who comes to see. So my question is, would i over tire myself if i fitted running into the morning?

    example:
wake up at 4am for a 3 mile run, come home for about 5 and go back to sleep for 7
wake up at 7 to get read to goto work at 9, then 5 days i week i go boxing 5:30pm-7pm then home, eat and in bed for around 9:30pm?

Or do any of you guys have any suggestions on the best way i should be running?

why not just get up at 0600 am and go for a run?.....i dont see any reason why you would be over training,,,most boxers run a.m and train p.m,,,,,,just make sure diet is bang on!.....im not training for any fight or actually doing boxing specific training at the min but im trainin twice a day......i def wouldnt be breaking my sleep up though like you are planning mate.

I weigh 66 kg I am 165 cm tall (pretty small build at the moment..........kinda weedy!!!) I go to the gym almost every day of the week. My goal is to just build and bulk my upper body. Is there some kind of formula to work out the fight kind of food to eat every day to get max results and gain lots of muscle mass. Thanks Heaps For Your Help

    RE:A fitness question

    Hi,
If you do decide you want to reduce your body fat, you should not attempt to lose weight too rapidly. In particular, you should not aim to lose more than half kg a week; nor should you try to consume less than 85% of your daily equilibrium calorie needs. This is to avoid illness, and because if you eat less than this, your body goes into starvation mode, your metabolism slows down, and your rate of weight loss decreases.

    All the best !

by fitness do you mean your appearance or your conditioning?

in the US you have to wear a jersey/shirt when amature box, so they only thing that will really be seen is your arms.

either way, i would most def run as much as i could b/c nothing will improve your wind conditioning for a fight like that imo.
