Carwin VS Brock
Not long to go.....
If it stays up Carwin wins, but I think Brock is going to try take it to the ground and use his weight.
What do you think?

Someones face will be a little less identifiable after this fight. Some nasty news about Lesnar has been circulating that he is not recoverred from his "illness" we will call it and the odds have gone way down in Carwins favor.

Brock may look like a down syndrome albino, but he is definately not as dumb as Mir thinking he will let Carwin punch him till he gets tired and then beat him up... the fact that Mir could back up Carwin into the fence tells me Brock will do the same very quickly and Brock charges in with his head way down negating any punching power and Carwin doesnt have the fastest knees. If he can avoid take downs and frustrate Lesnar, its going to be violent

brock is taller, but the two guys are the same weight..
but i give a major edge to Carwin. i'm really hoping he wins in a big way. I have a feeling Carwin will be champ for a while.
first round carwin.. making lesnar look like an amateur

I believe they both having the ko power ofcourse to drop each other.
But I think carwins chances of knocking out brock would be earlier on and ofcourse brock can do the same to carwin.
But as the match progresses, if carwin has not done the damage yet and knocked out brock....
I believe brock would take him out due to conditioning and stamina, Well the brock before he got sick would have anyway.
So carwins best chances would be earlier on, otherwise I think brock can take it .

Lol everyone was wrong. Brock by submission. Who the hell woulda guessed that? Wow ! Huge props to Brock Lesnar. I seriously thought he was done in that 1st round. If Steve Mazaghati would of been the reff I thing the fight would of ended right there. I'm glad it wasn't stopped because it showed Brock is the real deal. To come back and win after taking those shots was unbelievable. I love both fighters and believe if Shane had any kind of cardio things would of been different. A lot of great fights on this card. Sub of the night went to Brock. Anyone know who got fight of the night? Imo Bonners fight should of gotten it along with the Leben fight.

I was quite impressed with Leben. I didn't like him when he was on TUF, but he has since won me over and I always look forward to seeing him fight. a lot of heart and he always stays busy, no matter what position he's in he's trying something.

I think Fedor can hang with either of last nights fighters to be honest with you. Fedor ain't as big but after watching last nights fight I'm positive he would be a huge threat. Like I tell everyone. Don't let Fedors last performance define what Fedor is all about. Or you will one day greatly suprised.

Brock is the biggest star ever on the UFC roster. He is the Tiger Woods, the Mike Tyson whatever you want to call it, of MMA. Love him or hate him, he sells tickets. People (mainstream people) want to watch him fight.
The right guy won. Those boys brought the house down. The whole card was fantastic. You paid for a show and you got a show. And they set the stage for Carwin Brock II. Talk about a sellout. Carwin will come in lighter, with better cardio. This match set Carwin up to achieve some of the star power that Lesnar has.
Carwin Brock II will put more asses in seats and sell more pay per views. Awesome.

Im not a big Brock fan for a few good reason, but last night he showed me some serious heart and determination, and finally when it was all over some humility...
We will see how long it last...

The UFC handed out their usual bonuses last night at UFC 116, but on this night an extra bonus was handed out for an extra "Fight of the Night" that was just the beginning of an awesome night of fighting.
The "Knockout of the Night" bonus went to Middleweight, Gerald Harris for his third round knockout over Dave Branch. The knockout came when Branch went for a flying triangle choke and Harris caught him and slammed Branch on his head, knocking him out cold.
UFC Heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar shocked everybody by picking up "Submission of the Night" with his arm triangle choke victory over Shane Carwin in the second round.
The first "Fight of the Night" bonus went to Light Heavyweights, Stephan Bonnar and Krzysztof Soszynski for their two round battle that saw Bonnar pick up the TKO victory.
The second "Fight of the Night" bonus went to Chris Leben and Yoshihiro Akiyama who had an amazing three round fight that saw everything in this fight. A slugfest that turned out to go to the ground and saw Chris Leben pick up a victory via triangle choke in the third round of the fight.
All of these men earned an extra $75,000 for their performances at UFC 116.
