Negotiations have been made for May 5th at the MGM. Possibly the biggest fight and payday in history. Question is will it happen. And if so who wins. Let me know what you think. Who wins?

Should be a good fight but I wont be able to get over how much money they will both make for the fight.

I think the payday is over the top. But I don't se why it shouldn't be. This fight could be great if not the greatest and the hype for it will be nuts

Oh yeah...I forgot to add that part.

As long as Manny stays moving and not flat footed, there is no way Mayweather handles his non stop action.

Good match up between awesome offence and great defense huh

I've been a boxing fan my whole life. I just don't see pacman winning Mayweather in my opinion is the greatest "boxer" ever. I just think he is to smart to slip up he will use any tactic to win. We all know we will be on are toes the whole time watching.

I am pretty sure pacman will win. I say it goes the distance. Which is a bad statement, because it is Mayweathers game to take it to the cards. Pacman is just a different guy to out box and to leave it to a defensive game. Right now, Pacman is the best boxer p4p.

Also, I am going to say it won't happen. Man I hope it does though.

The only way I see Mayweather winning is if he runs the whole fight. I don't mean his normal evasive boxing, but a literal run and evade the whole fight. If he does that, I think he has a chance, but I hate those type of boxers and don't think that they should even get the win. It is a sport and that is one way to win, but I think it takes away from what it is really about. That is the only reason I have never really cared for Mayweather and others that take the defensive approach to win only. Boxing is all about defense, but to win a fight on a purely defensive technique is not what it is about to me. There has to be some clear domination on the offense as well. Oh well... I don't make the rules so that is that.

If he gets out of the run and jab mode with PacMan, it is going to be a lose situation for him. If pacman chases him all night and the fight is like that all night.... well I will be one pissed off viewer.

pacman by ko. . . .what happened with the blood testing mayweather was insisting on that stopped the previous possible fight, is this '' olympic style '' testing going to be used or ?

I believe it'll happen. Arum is a promoter its there job to promote and hype it up even talk about the other fighter making stuff up. I believe the fight will take place around that time.

This... Floyd is a moron outside of the ring... inside of it he's the smartest fighter there is today. After manny barely eeked by an old and out of his weight class Marquez, roach all of a sudden now changes his tune about how he feels a fight with Floyd will go. manny is at his best when he fights guys who stand right in front of him.

Mayweather would out class him badly. Pacmans value is on the slide.

I'd LOVE to see someone school Khan myself. He is now quoted as saying that he is going to urge manny to retire. Yeah... urge him to retire so you can try to make that money by fighting Floyd. Why doesn't he just rematch the guy who knocked him silly in 50 seconds of the first round of their fight first?

I do agree with the above. I never thought manny could win and have bet people up to 500.00 that he wouldn't. The ONLY way manny has a chance is if Floyd gets old all of a sudden, even then with his defensive skills it wouldn't be easy.

It's always been interesting to me that people try to point out manny's punch output and that he throws over 1,000 punches in a fight... did people see how many he threw Saturday? About half that because when you're getting countered everytime you are much more reluctant to throw.

I also agree with the above that Marquez did win the fight. He didn't throw as many shots, but he was more accurate and his punches were the more eye catching and had a lot more snap on them.

Now arum and roach want a 4th fight with Marquez lol basically because they want to keep manny FAR from Floyd. Keep twisting the truth bob.

i agree kahn has been wrapped in cotton wool his whole career i hope he starts running his mouth at marquez but to be honest i cant see roach letting kahn fight marquez because he will know he beat pacquaio and therefor completely outclass kahn

Honestly... I believe that Khan is technically a better fighter than manny is. manny has more power, Khan shells up and uses his jab well. Marquez has once again exposed manny that he isn't this so much more polished fighter. NO ONE gave Marquez a chance... I didn't mainly because of his age and the the weight suiting manny a lot more. At 140 if Khan wants to make a statement then he should fight Marquez. arum however isn't going to let that happen. This fight blew up in his face which i'm glad about because I was sick of all of the excuses ... people can see why now that arum never really wanted manny in a ring with Floyd. They want to pursue a 4th fight with Marquez, but he wants it in Mexico and wants manny to admit that he lost the fight lol.

kahn has no chin, ive lost count of amount of average fighters that have seriously scared him with only half decent shots, and he wants to step up to welterweight where the power really starts haha im going to be lmfao when he is ko'd. pacman will never admit he got beat. . . ive heard that he has big political ambitions at home and has been thinking about retirement for a while now, mabey he will call it a day?

Yeah, I read somewhere that arum had made the excuse that he hasn't made the fight with Floyd was because manny wants to be president lol I swear the excuses will never stop when it comes to arum.

On a side note according the Khan that he was instructed not to spar with manny anymore during his last training session. Maybe he was getting the better of manny... don't know. Those are also Khan's words and not manny's.

The funny thing about Khan is in his fight with Maidana was that in the 10th when he almost got his head taken off, any normal fighter with a ref that wasn't paid by arum would have stopped the fight.

i heard this and dont believe it for a minute, kahn is still nowhere near level of pacman beaten by marquez or not they are a different league of fighters which kahn hasnt yet stepped up to and to be honest dont think he ever will. i mean could you honestly see mayweather, after he stops laughing at kahn, let him be in same ring as him for more than a single round?
