Blinking when getting punched bad habit?
My mother went to slap me last night in the dark and I closed my eyes feeling like coward right now! I wrestled in hs and boxed feel like I forgot how to fight since I blinked when my mother went to strike me?

Blink?
Reflex?
A real man lets flying objects blind him.
I have never lost a sock.

It's called "menace reflex" and you couldn't stop it if you wanted to. Put your face against a glass window and have someone on the other side throw a tennis ball at your eyes. Or put the right side of your face against a mirror, looking into the mirror at another person standing to your left side, near enough that they appear in the mirror only inches from the left side of your face. Then have them throw a punch at the reflection of your face that they see in the mirror. You'll blink every time, even though you know it's coming. In the latter case, there isn't even any danger of your eye being hit but it still responds to what it sees rather than what you know (and without asking for your permission). Nature gave that to you to protect a delicate organ. And not just humans, lots of other animals, too. Test it on your dog, their eyes also have the menace response to fast-moving objects.

I once fought a professional UFC fighter blind folded .. he asked me if I was blind folding myself cause I thought I was that damn good . I said "no I just don't wanna blink" . I proceeded to getting my ass kicked and didn't even blink once

Get to a boxing gym. Hire a trainer, use head gear & have him slowly throw punches at you while in a corner (can't move away).
Gradually increase speed & intensity. Eventually head gear comes off.
Your blinking may not disappear, but you'll learn to adapt to the idea of being hit & it won't be a surprise like a random slap.

.....sigh.....
You should learn to shift your head out of the way. If you stay in a fixed point and have a hand/fist flying at you, you're going to blink; it's involuntary.
As Prox stated, get tagged a few times and you'll learn to recover and react.
