    Tattoo's

    I just wondered if a person had big tattoo's say on their back or down their arms would that work against them if they were to try and compete? such as hiding details etc.

    they can be covered w/ tan and oil i mean hell look at lee priest his dam face is tattood and you cant tell when hes on stage

    yeah the tan and oil covers up tats pretty well. It also depends on the judges.

    I really HOPE I am not discriminated against when I step on the stage for my Tattoo's... I'd imagine that they would be over 90% covered... with the SPRAY ON TAN and OUL

    I heard that the Judges (depending who they are, everyone is different) do not like seeing Tattoo's on Bodybuilders.. But I'd call that discrimination...

    I have QUITE a few Tattoo's... and PLAN ON a lot more... I also PLAN on a long career in Bodybuilding.. so they are either just gonna have to GET USED TO IT.. or figure something else out.. like develop a division for heavily tattooed Bodybuilders lol...

    Um, no, it wouldn't be the judges who had to figure things out, it'd be you. You do know that they decide who wins right? Not the other way around.

    I help a female competitor with several tattoos. We use make up designed to cover them up right before prejudging. You cannot tell she has them on stage. Why take the risk? Cover them up.

    The tat is a friend of mines there is a story behind it but i dont remember what he told me. The first time i saw it i thought it was an eye sore too! I personally dont have any tatoos,i dont like'em. But ill be sure to tell him it was a big hit! lol
