Do apples count as Dextrose/PWO carbs?
Would an apple be a good source for part of your PWO dextrose intake? 1 large apples is about 32 carbs. I know I would need more intake, but apples do grow on tree's

Apples = fructose....
From what I've read, they help replenish glycogen in your liver, not your muscles, and the latter is what you want.... so, I would say that it's not a good idea...Last edited by Blown_SC; 03-04-2005 at 06:20 PM. Reason: Clarification.

Apples would do absolutely nothing positive in this situation.
Leave them on the tree.
