Finally Back Into It....
Hi All,
Well after about 3 months Im finally getting back into the gym and getting my diet back on track. Im really excited to see some results in a few weeks. I have some fat to shed so im going to start with a cutting approach.
My stats:
5'9 1/2
199lbs
approx 19% bodyfat
26 years old - male
My diet:
6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. cardio (6 days per week)
8:00 a.m. - Meal 1: 8-12 egg whites, 1 tbsp flax oil
10:30 a.m.- Meal 2: 1 1/2 can tuna, 1 tsp flax oil
1:00 p.m. - Meal 3: 1 large grilled or baked chicken breast, greenveggies, 1/4 cup chopped almonds
4:00 p.m. - Meal 4: 1 large grilled or baked chicken breast, greenveggies, 1tsp flax oil
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - weight training
(2 days on - 1 day off)
6:45 p.m. Meal 5 - PWO 40g whey, 60g dextrose
8:30 p.m. Meal 6 - PPWO Lean steak or chicken breast w/ 1 yam or 1 cup brown rice
11:00 p.m Meal 7 - 40g whey, 1 tbsp flax oil
11:30 Bed
This adds up to approx:
2020 kcal , 64g fat , 104g carbs, 252g protein
Should I cut back a little on the carbs since i am trying to cut? My goal weight is 190 15% BF in one month. Any input/help would be greatly appreciated.

man everything looks great, but i would never go as low as 2000 calories to start off with unless you are not worried about losing some muscle mass

thanks abstract - very motivating - i appreciate it.
Getbig ....i really dont want to do that. Can you suggest anything to prevent burning muscle. Would u suggest increasing my calorie intake? I thought by adding the fat with my protein would prevent the muscle loss and the large amount of protein i am consuming would prevent catabolism.
Swole - you are right. I am actually very sleep deprived and i know thats going to hold me back from muscle growth but i am going to try and see how i can put more sleep in the equation. I actually have a problem sleeping at night and i used to be on meds to get me through the night but i dont want to depend on them anymore.
thanks nixon.....
