Why is Dextrose 'better' than sucrose?
What is 'bad' about Sucrose? Both dextrose and sucrose are simple carbs, but I would like to be able to explain why one cant simply use Sucrose as a source of PWO nutrition.
So what are the advantages/disadvantages of both?
thanks!

I am going to guess the bioavailability of dextrose is better, meaning it replinishes your system faster and more efficiently.

dextrose is nothing but solid form of glucose which is exactly what the body requires in order to gain the most benificial insulin spike to increase proteinsynthesis to its max potential .. approx 400% while sucrose must first be converted to glucose then the increase in protein synthesis is induced. its just about effectiveness and the biomolecular pathways that are taken and NOW IM RAMBLING !! yay .,
edit i had lotsa spelling errors
