yea..it's actually pretty easy... if you cut carbs (anything bread) the only carbs i get is from veggies, some brown rice which i hate, and some grits (this is a cheat)
i can get to almost 0 carbs.. ( i mean sugars)
stay away from ketchup mustard is betterLast edited by spywizard; 10-02-2005 at 09:58 PM.

Do you mind posting up a typical week. For ex.
Mon: protein 350grams, Carbs 150grams, fat 40 grams.
Tues: etc.
This is strictly for cutting I suppose. Looks almost like a precomp. diet.

typical meal
it's pretty boring.. but i am able to stick to i..
when cutting..
m1. 6 eggs (egg beaters) 1 cup oats
m2 40 grams protein shake, with flax
m3 1 chicken breast 1/2 cup rice
exercise
m4 pwo 40grams protein/dex
m5 1 chicken breast 1/2 broc
m6 12-16 oz steak usually with olive oil or butter
m7 shake 40grams protein/flax
at anytime during the day i get hungry, i will double the amount of chicken that is in the next meal..
if hungry before bed, i will have an additional protein shake/flax..
i also like the atkins protein shake advantage $31 for 12 cans
this is not what i use for the above diet.. but is convenient when running out the door, and the taste satisfies..
20g protein
1g sugar
5 carbsLast edited by spywizard; 10-03-2005 at 09:11 AM.

Just not near enough calories, I'll try a similar approach but I'd have to double the carbs. You also have 20yrs on me, so the metabolism is my nemesis.

My biggest challenge will be to lose weight and maintain 100% of my LBM. It has to do with very precise calculations. I just have to play with the numbers until I find the right combination.

They are not essential for growth, You want to get carbs in directly after workout but usually even my meal 1 hour after workout is high in protein and moderate carbs.
