Didnt know this was a source of protein..
I had no idea that tinned corned beef contained 25g of protein per 100g. I just read the tin whilst making a sandwhich. Im not a fan of corned beef that much but suppose it offers a cheap alternative to the usual things.

Corned beef has very high amount of protein but also contains good amount of fat. Caned Salmon is a good cheap source of protein if you like it and it doesn't contain much fat.

Nice..... thanks chemking.
another source of canned protein. I can only afford so much tri tip and other real meats for my pro/fat meals. Canned salmon isn't a bad idea either. I wonder if it's any good........
