    eggs PWO

My PWO meal is usually 1 banana/9 egg whites/1yoke and 2 large slices of whole grain bread. Does this sound Ok. Would a shake be better? What is a good source of dextrose?

Dextrose is a good source for dextrose or sweetarts. Ideally you would like a simple carb to spike the insulin for a quick shuttle of protein to the muscles to help repair them. Whole grain bread isn't high enough GI.

Your PWO looks fine. I'd drop the yolk and add a whey shake and I think you'd be all set. It's good to have a fast digesting protein.

I agree. Have a shake as the body absorbs it faster

You will most certainly get some people saying yes. I say no, only because I have not seen any evidence presented that says insulin , post workout within physiological ranges is anabolic .
