Protein Shake Timing
Hello all
I have a question here. I am starting cutting next week. I will be doing workouts consisting of 45 minutes of circuit (with weights) then abs. I was wondering if it would be better for me to consume a protein shake immediately after the circuit, then doing abs, or finish the circuit, do the abs for 10-15 mins then take the protein.
Thanks
Bryan

i believe you have around a 30-45 minute window on your shake, and it should be done after all weight training.
so IMO i would down it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after your ab routine...

Ya wait till you are done all your training, abs included. If you consume your shake your blood will be diverted to aid in digestion and away from the muscles, this is not what you want if you are looking to feed your muscles and build muscle mass. Take it asap after you complete everything.
