Final check list before I start cycle, please look.

Ok bro's bout to start my 12 week 500mg/EW (250mg/mon & thurs) cycle, and I have a couple final questions. I am an athlete and want to stay as lean as possible during this cycle, and try to eliminate any type of bloat or unneccessary weight. I have clomid and nolvadex for pct/gyno, but my question is, are there anything else I can take to help eliminate bloat or any unneccessary weight? I'm not trying to get massive on this cycle, just some quality strength gains. I heard someone mention proviron in another thread is that something I may need? Anything else to help me achieve my goals is greatly appriciated.

Ok, sorry, should have included that...

    Breakfast:
    Protein shake (30+ grams)
    Omelet w/salsa
    Granola bar

    Snack:
    Peanut butter sandwhich
    pretzels

    Lunch:
    some type of sandwhich
    chicken
    soup

    Dinner:
    baked potato w/cottage cheese
    salad
    chicken or steak

    Before bed:
    protein shake

It tends to vary but that is a basic outline of what I try to do.
Should I eat less since I want to keep my gains as lean as possible? What do you guys think.

Oh yeah, my stats are... 6'1, 185 and been training for 5 years.

Goals... Get to a legit 190-195 with my gains in mostly my strenth, and keep my speed. Thanks everyone.

IMO your not eating enough...you seem like the type that is afraid of getting fat...Im that way too...

But you have to eat a lot if you want to see gains...I know people say this a lot but you need to model your diet after the lean bulking sticky...

DB i'm gonna jump in here...
i take it wherever you are an athlete you aren't going to be drug tested...
and you are wanting to gain 5-10 pounds?
personally, i don't think you need the gear.
you're an athlete, up your calories and keep them very clean (be strict), then if you have a current routine, just change it up. keep your body guessing. Work hard and deadlift, squat, and bench and you'll see gains. work on your agility a few times a week and you won't lose any speed. i know, because i did it

i think nova is dead on. no need to cycle if you're only going for 5-10 lbs. I think your diet is the problem. It's not terrible, don't get me wrong, but I model your diet after the lean bulk like NewKid said. This will help you put on the weight you want and it is going to increase your strength. if i were you i'd hold off on cycling.

i disagree with that personally, but i do not think you can gain more than around 15 pounds of LBM in a year, going all natural. i gained a good 15 from a dirty bulk i did all last fall(July 14th-Nov 18th), after i cut up i gained not quite 8 pounds of muscle. now im doing Phera-plex and really clean bulking for 10 weeks to see if the gains are similiar in almost half the time. of course this will be pre-cutting, but i hope to gain around 8 pounds after my next cutter.

he also didn't say how soon he needed gains, it sound pretty recreational. he's already an athlete. but i think that he could get 5 pounds of lean muscle by next school year (fall 06') if he busted ass.

Tai, i'm not arguing here, i just think that if he's already an athlete he could do it naturally.

Ok, well actually I'm roughly 182, but throw 185 out for conversation. I want to get to a legit 195, so that is 13 lbs. Where can I improve on my diet? what needs work? What would you guys reccommed for minimal bloat?

Your diet is horrible! Search around for information in the diet section. Your gains will suck if you don't.

Ya man, looks like a good cycle.

but remember to eat ample calories because you want your body to have all the fuel it needs.

Also, I think Proviron is good a keeping bloating down. I have heard a lot of people cycle Pro with deca . Do a little research on the site.

    Just my 2 cents,

    Good luck homie,

    GP

Alright, you seem to not want to read the bulking sticky so I'll give you an example diet

    1. 12 eggwhites, 1 1/2 cups oats
    2. 2 chicken breasts, 2 sweet potatoes
    3. tuna/mayo
    4. preworkout 40g whey/1 cup oats
    workout
    5. PWO 40g whey/80g dextrose
    6. PPWO 2 chicken breasts, 1 cup rice
    7. 12 eggwhites, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 2 tbspn natural peanut butter

This may be too much for you IMO, but you get the idea. Take a trip to the diet forum and read the sticky you'll see what I am talking about.

I dont think you need to cycle, the diet (or something similar toned down a little bit) that I outlined above will help you achieve your goals. With what you say now, aas is basically a shortcut. I think you could easily reach your goal naturally.

Ok, I read that, appriciate it guys. I'm not exactly using steroids for size, but more for strenght, my lifts have never been good, and I've been lifting for 5 consecutive years with supplements, and above average dieting.
