How this for a cheat meal?
i usually drink about 1000 calories of liquor (within an 8 hr time span) and ingest about 2000 calories for a meal afterwards. my question is with the drinking, i usually have about a 50 gram pro meal prior to drinking and i have a 50 gram pro shake with 10 gr of glutamine about 4 hours into my night is this all that bad.plus the cheat meal. btw i woke up this morning feeling good no hang over.so is it ok(or making the best of a bad situatiuon) to drink as long as your, hydrated+taking in protein+no excessive drinking? (once a week) thanks.

well I dont drink but I do know that alcohol raises estrogen...obviously want to stay away from that...if you want to drink though be sure and do what youre doing with moderation etc...

alchol actually affects the digestion and absorption of protein for a few days after drinking (it impedes it a pretty good amount). i think it has to do with the enzymes needed to remove the alcohol from your body. so i am not too sure of what the shakes are doing. if that is you in your avatar maybe you should do the drinking all the time because it doesnt look like it affects you at all.

if you're a hard liquor person like me, go with the flavored vodkas or rums mixed up with some soda water and a garnish to squeeze in it for some extra flavor. they're not that bad if you find the right combo. i usually go with something like voda raz, soda water, and a couple orange or lime wedges for flavor.
try to keep the drinking to a moderate level though, as though i can't confirm those statements about it preventing protein absorption or however they worded it above, i do know that alcohol does lower your bodies test levels. it would also negatively affect any other test you have in you as well.

1000 cals of liquor? how many drinks is that? I dont' drink much, but went out last night and had biccardi/diet.
and yes, alchohol does affect protein absorption

its about 14 shots, i usually drink my liquor straight or with diet soda. i was just wondering would having that cheat meal be beneficial as far as protein absorption. meaning that the alcohol will be absorbed in that one meal rather than over the next few days.

hows this for a meal when on the go??? ( i travel alot) 1.breakfast- oatmeal, 3 raw eggs....berries...whey shake
2.lunch sandwhich
3. snack 3 egg whites lwo fat cottage c and a potato
4. dinner chicken breast or fish or ground beef patty, on the 4man of course and the greens with whey
this is when i dont have the PREPARATION time for the day...also have good doses of high multivitamin...fish/flax oils, MAX CLA, and 2g fiber pills 3x a day....good poopin
