Low Gi White Bread?????
Has anyone ever seen low gi white bread?
i just got some from the super market and
it sais on the packet thats its glycemic index 54.
is 54 low enouth to eat as a complex carb meal or still too high?
im trying to cut and would just love it if i could eat this instead of brown bread but i just would like to know if 54 is low or high?

55 is low however 56 is considered medium. 54 is considered low according to the index i was reading last night actually. YOu might wanna get a second opinion from the diet bros around here first

I dont eat bread at all on cutting diets...if you really want it go ahead...but it just depends on other stuff....but in all honesty I dont see a big problem with it...maybe someone can tell you otherwise...

that doesnt sound like white bread to me...more like wheat. i usually buy "whole wheat" and gotta make sure ingredients dont say "enriched wheat flour" because enriched=bad

I would be fine using that for PWO and PPWO and even for breakfast....i usually will use bread in my cutting diets up until about 6 weeks til a show...then its oats, brown rice, yams and wheat and gluten free tortillas.
