    Peanuts pre workout!

Ok guys i've searched like crazy and cant seem to find a good answer on this one! Yesturday I got a little mixed up and didnt get my oats in before I had to leave work to go to the gym so I grabed a handfull of Peanuts. For some reason I had the most increadible pump while working out! I actually felt like I was on something!! Weights shot up and the burn was so good but I could push right throu it! I didnt seem to loose steam much at all either! I am on a cutting diet so Im not sure if this is good or not, but was it the peanuts that gave me this feeling or somethin else? All that I have read has been telling me to still take in my oats about 30-45 min. before workout. But if the peanuts work like this "and" are not bad on my cutting diet then im gona stick with them!!! Thanks in advance!

Can't really make an educated guess just based on a one time happening....keep trying and see if there's an effect each workout. I dont think it's the peanuts, unless someone on here can tell me I'm wrong with some good data to back it up.

Yea I wanted to keep tryin it out, but if the fat pre workout is gona hinder my fat burning (cuase I do cardio right after workout) then I didnt want to chance it! I did find this thread that I somehow over looked. It pretty much tells me not to, but im not 100% sure cause of my results so far. http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=215062

The only thing I've read that may contribute to this is regarding a 1 oz. serving of dry roasted peanuts....
Niacin - 19% of Recommended Daily Intake - Necessary in more than 50 of the body processes, niacin is primarily important in the release of energy from the food that we eat and maintenance of healthy skin, the nervous system and the digestive tract.

Got that excerpt from the American Peanut Council web site.

I always eat a pro/fat before I lift. I also get in a pro/carb meal before then. But I just get a better workout with a pro/fat meal before hand.

Penutes gives me acid reflux like you wont believe if I eat them then execise. I ussually eat two whole grain bagels before I lift, then withen 15 minutes afterwards I will eat a steak, brown rice and applesauce.
