I doubt a stick here and there would be harmful. I chew about 10 a over the course of a day also and don't see it having an effect either way.

You actually burn calories while chewing gum all day, so my guess is it would even itself out.

I chew gum all day everyday, I have had this habit for atleast 10 years. Personally I have to chew gum while lifting, if I dont I feel like I am going to pass out and get dizzy. I find when I chew gum this side effects almost completely subside.

When you chew gum, you burn an extra 11 calories an hour. Chew gum all day, that means you are burning almost 100 calories a day from it, over 2 weeks, thats 1 pound of fat

hmm.. Don't think it would be a lb of fat every two weeks from gum chewing lol.. I'm pretty sure you'd be burning carbs/excessive calories. That'd be nice though.

chew the gum for the first minute or so, dont swallow anything, then spit out the flavour, most the sugar is gonna be out by then if ur THAT worried.

either way, im assuming gum is minus calories..meaning you burn more than you consume just by chewing it.
