    L- Glutamine Post work outs

I take 3,000 MG of L-glutamine daily, split in two dosages one in the morning and one at bed time. I been recently advised to take all of my L-gluamine ingestion for the day as soon as I finish my work outs, is this true? and if way is that?

    Glutamine supplementation is very over-rated.

Especially if you are already using a protein powder, most of the more popular brands are already loaded with it anyhow so additional supplementation is only spending money that need not be spent.

About 90% of Glutamine is destroyed in the gut as well.

I am starting to come around on the idea that it is a waste. If the proper varieties of lean proteins are taken in, the supplementation should not be necessary.
